Olay skin advisor how old does it say you look and how old are you

If you put a selfie in to the Olay Skin Advisor does it get your age right.
How old are you and what age does it say you are?
Wondering if it gives a vanity assessment or not

I'm 45 and it gave me 29. Its sort of a con as its just looking at areas of shadow on the face, its a gimmick.

Eugh. I've tried in various lights and it always adds at least 6 years. I really need to stop - I appreciate it's not accurate, but seeing everyone else getting younger than their real age is making me feel awful 😞

I felt like my fairly basic skincare was doing ok, but apparently it's really not.

I’m 46 next month, it put me at 44.

Quite a few people have hit older ages too. It seems to be either incredibly random or some very simple things (teeth? hair? freckles?) are throwing it off. Don’t let it get to you. F💐

I was in Asda today and they have got new AI technology there to automatically check if you look over 25 - didn't buy any alcohol today but will see what it says when I do, I think i am going to be disappointed

It's different on the front facing camera vs selfie camera

16 years off me, it said I look 22. I do look a few years younger than my age but definitely not that much younger!

Got me right on tbf. Well about 9mths older. Pegged my 5yo as a 20yo

I just did it twice in 5 mins from slightly different angle - 47 or 39. I'm actually 42 so not convinced on it.

Tried it a few times smiling, normal and it knocked 17-18 years off me.

Mine was bang on. ☹️

I tried it smiling and it added 10 years!

I must say it is a very brave strategy if they’re trying to increase sales. I was so annoyed I closed the window immediately and certainly won’t be buying anything 😂

It aged me by a few years and said I'm 51 - I'm nearly 47 so not far off. I tried it with makeup on today and it said 50. So good to know it makes a very slight difference!😜

Actually I'm much less lined than my mum was at my age - I think not smoking 20 cigarettes a day may have something to do with it!

It took 17 or 18 years off depending on lighting. It's either bollocks or my botox does more than I think it does.

It knocked off 10 years yesterday and 15 today.

Oh I never heard of this but have always been told I looked young. I got 39 with the olay and 34 with the loreal one. I'm 49, so that's made my day. I'm not sure about the loreal one though my skin seemed to look fantastic when they were taking the selfie. Do they have a filter on it or something?
