Olay skin advisor how old does it say you look and how old are you

If you put a selfie in to the Olay Skin Advisor does it get your age right.
How old are you and what age does it say you are?
Wondering if it gives a vanity assessment or not

It put me at 34 and I'm 34 in November.

It said I was 50. I am 50. My forehead, which is very lined and always has been was green and if anything that's the area I'd really like to do something about.

Well I had never heard of this so I had to try it. It put me at 48 and I am actually 63 so I am happy. Obviously I think it’s a load of nonsense.

A selfie I'd used with makeup on put me at 38 and one I'd just taken where I looked dreadful said 30. I'm 45. 👍

it took 12 years off me, but I wonder whether there it doesn’t cater for different ethnicities, as I thought I looked old and haggard in the photo that the app took.

Just tried with natural light (1st was in the bathroom) and it put 27, so knocked a couple more years off. I don't think it's totally random.

I am delighted - it took 11 years off me!

I took the same photo on my phone and one on my iPad and there was a nine year difference 🤷‍♀️

It said I was 30 and I'm 40 (41 in a few weeks)

It was spot on for me!

I was 40 when not smiling and 54 when smiling. I am 51. Must remember not to smile if I want to look young.

I’m 40 and it said 34! Hooray!

I’ve tried it twice, first time I got 32 years old, and second time with a photo from this morning I got 22 years old.

I’m 35, 36 next month.

But I do have Botox in my forehead, elevens and crows feet so might have tricked the AI by disguising things it’s programmed to look for. I also use tret. Every time I’ve ever used olay it’s been super heavy and greasy and caused me to have breakouts.

I’m 49. First time it knocked off 10 years, taken just now in the kitchen. Second time I used a photo I’d taken earlier this week, outdoors just after a 5k run and it added 8 years. So a load of old tosh.

I am in my 60s and it was spot on!

Obviously I wish it said I was younger as I have been conditioned by social norms, but I am happy really. (It did sting a tadlet, I will admit)😉

I have loads of laughter lines and look increasingly like my grandmother 👵
I am ok with this, a bit, a very little bit of makeup and I feel presentable!
I really have lost that automatic checking out of other women, it just went in menopause. I mean that thing where you look at strangers’ hair, makeup etc and judge or think that looks good.

As I said on another thread, getting older is much more preferable than the alternative. ☺️ I have long Covid and severe arthritis so I know pain really does show in my face. I love to compliment other women on their style so maybe I do still judge, just not as harshly.

I do hope this Olay thing hasn’t hurt anyone’s feelings 💖

(Bit of a ramble as I had a G&T with my evening meal, which according to another thread means that I must immediately sign into rehab!)

I took another photo using my phone and dropped from 51 to 42 which is less terrifying.

It’s bull, just took a selfie first one had me 1 year older the second one, 10 years younger. Same photo just did it twice!

Mine said 36 and I'm 42. I looked about 60 in the pic though!
