Olay skin advisor how old does it say you look and how old are you

If you put a selfie in to the Olay Skin Advisor does it get your age right.
How old are you and what age does it say you are?
Wondering if it gives a vanity assessment or not

Although it just said my three week old son is 47 so I’m now less convinced of its accuracy 😂

😂😂some newborns can look like wee old men to be fair!

And I'm nearly 42 so pretty accurate

Took 6 years off me and accurately highlighted my problems under eye

Added 8 years (but it was the worst selfie ever!). I've used olay all my adult life

I did it and first time (I was smiling) it said I was 47. Did it again just with relaxed face and it said I was 41. I'm 41 ha ha

Mine said 39, I was 40 2 weeks ago! 😂

It gave me 41, around 16 years younger than my actual age. People do say I look younger than I am, but maybe not that much 😊

I can't use it anymore - it became my Olay "Mirror Mirror On The Wall". Fuelled an unhealthy obsession!

I got three years younger. My skin is terrible so I'm happy with that!

It knocked 13 years off mine, which is ridiculous because it was a very strongly lit selfie with all the age spots, redness, elevens, and jowls very much in evidence. It’s not flattering. It just stops me trusting their advice (marketing).

Got me spot on.
But I had to lie, as I dont use any of the products in that list. Soap and water here, so possibly not their ideal demographic!!!!

I’m 44 and have always taken extremely good care of my skin as I used to be a beauty therapist so not surprised and it matches the shock when people find out my age.

It puts me at 30. I'm actually 39.

That's also very much in line with what people say in real life, I get told I look a lot younger. Even though on MN it's often said no one can look 10 years younger...

I'm 47 😁

Only 3 months older, mid 50s. I'm super pleased with that, I'm out in sun a lot. Am haphazard about remembering sun cream. I expected it to say 60+.

I tried a few times:
No smile = younger age
Smile = older (added 6 years and the only difference is that I smiled in the 2nd selfie)
Darker light = younger
Brighter/natural light (move laptop towards the window a bit)= much younger (12 years off)

Guess the secret of looking younger is not to smile and stay under the natural/bright light.

Yes! I’m a proverbial mnetter who looks 10 years younger! (Am 44 put my at 34). I’ll try again later when I’ve rolled out of bed and my wrinkles have depuffed.

I took one picture directly under the ceiling light and it put my age at 38 then I put the light out, opened the blind and took the photo infront of the window and my age dropped to 30.

I think you need to take these sorts of things with a pinch of salt!
