Very basic outfit today, it's chilly and DD since 5 a.m. has been giving us a hard time. Now she's off to the nursery and I feel like I need a gallon of coffee to get through today. ☕

I’m so fed up with the miserable weather. I’ve been in jeans most days but getting bored, trying out some nicer tops rather than tees. Yesterday the weather was decent so I wore a dress but by the evening my legs were freezing!

Now it’s tipping it down! Trying to channel summer

Unlike the actual weather which is not. I'm in riding gear as usual but I'm wearing shorts later even if I have to wear a thermal top.

I took a day off to meet a friend for lunch and fitted in a shopping trip, too, on Monday.

Didn't manage as many good finds as @Sickoffamilydrama the other day, but got some bits that I'm pleased with, including a powder blue waistcoat from Zara to wear with ny Cos high waisted trousers and a few bits from Primark.

I've also been on the hunt for a dress for my birthday, which is coming up soon. It's my 30th and DH is organising something but I don't know what, only that it's in the evening and there will be dancing! Can I ask for your opinions on this Reiss dress, please? I really liked it in store but my DM reckons it's a bit too "bridal" and I'm not sure if it's special enough for a birthday dress or not. I did feel nice in it, though. I've got one from Reformation on order so will try that, too, and see which I prefer but would appreciate your opinions in the meantime! 😊 It's open at the back, which I like.

I also think the dress choice depends on what are you planning to dance (looking at the Reiss dress, I immediately thought of waltz!).😊

Still a bit chilly over here, so I am wearing thick knitwear today.
I recently got this bracelet and I think it looks nice with the dungarees. Most of the time though you'd see such bracelets being worn with suits/ smart clothing and mostly by men (though men's ones have more beads typically). These are sold as amulets, mine is supposed to help one of your wishes come true (I bought it mostly because I love the design though, but wishes coming true is certainly welcome!😁).
