Oh Sophie that is hideous. It makes her look all kinds of lumpy when she has a nice figure.

I agree - not flattering.
But - hello, shoes. Caramel with a purple block heel and not stilletos

Bravo Kate. And yes, a lovely frock 😊

MotherofPearl · 06/05/2022 20:52

Yes I noticed Sophie’s shoes Maireas. I quite like them! But then I do like a block heel.

Clicking on that DM link also took me to these photos of Beatrice out and about in Chelsea. I'm not a fan of that style of jacket at all, and I also don't like black accessories with navy. But goodness, she's looking very trim post-baby.

The Monegasque royals have been at the Chanel show. I love Princess Caroline's full-on embrace of Chanel here - she looks so glam (though I don't love that skirt).

What to say about Charlotte's double denim, quilted trousers look?! I guess you can definitely wear too much Chanel.

That is quite the look on Charlotte but she gets away with it on account of being so beautiful.

Beatrice looks good and a lot like Fergie in that first photo.

Serenster · 07/05/2022 08:22

I look at outfits like the one Charlotte is wearing and can’t help wondering if she’d be seen dead in that if it didn’t cost £££££ and have the Chanel label.

I love Caroline’s jacket and think she’d rock that top half with jeans rather than that skirt. Not quite her look though I suppose!

Bea does look good, and I’m going to go against the crowd and say that I like Sophie’s suit, it’s a nice change from all her tea dresses, and I don’t think it’s so unflattering.

Courtesy of the Court Jeweller - Ladies of England tiara, and more about Granny's chips! I'm interested in Queen Mary and have read quite a few books about her. She was quite the magpie!

I love Queen Mary and her all-in commitment to going big at all times. There’s a photo of her and her daughter Mary, supporting women’s nursing in WWI, and though she’s just wearing a simple white lace dress she still has a diamond drop brooch, a diamond pendent necklace and some ginormous studs in her ears. Not exactly dress down. 😂

There was also the great exchange of letters between her and the Queen Mother when the Queen Mother received the massive Grenville jewels inheritance. Queen Mary wrote to her daughter in law “I never had any such luck - but I am not really jealous, I just mention this as it came into my mind!". (I think she might have been a bit jealous…!)

Maireas · 07/05/2022 10:28

Brilliant! There was a woman who didn't believe in the term "dress down"!

Why is Beatrice's bag open? Is that a look now? 🙈

paradyning · 07/05/2022 14:43

Charlene is back again. Love her look today. And I really love her hair.
The only weird thing is the arm button thingys on the inside of her elbows??

Maireas · 07/05/2022 15:01

Charlene looks good, although you can tell she's had bad sinus problems. It's lovely to see her hugging her children again. I like her dress, although feel the same about the button sleeve thing, @paradyning !

gluenotsoup · 07/05/2022 15:14

I think exactly the same 😊

Serenster · 07/05/2022 18:17

I quite like Charlene’s denim dress, though it’s very severe.

Sophie Wessex had a charity lunch yesterday in London and wore a lovely pink trouser suit.Got to sit next to Damian Lewis too, by the looks of it…

I'd have come over all hot and bothered if I was Sophie. The suit is a lovely colour pink on her.

LadyEloise10 · 07/05/2022 18:48

Sophie looks great.
Damian Lewis doesn't look too bad either 😉

Maireas · 07/05/2022 18:53

Sophie looks lovely. Edward must be pleased that she's embraced the double breasted look 😉

KillingMeDeftly · 07/05/2022 19:07

Watch out Edward, Damian's got his eye on Sophie!

paradyning · 07/05/2022 19:11

God I love Damian Lewis

BornBlonde · 07/05/2022 19:53

I also love Damian Lewis

AdaColeman · 07/05/2022 22:18

Oh my goodness, Damian is looking quite gorgeous there!

Unlike the Monégasque trio who I think look a bit naff. They look as though they were each given ten quid to dress themselves in a charity shop challenge!

How can you tell?

Maireas · 07/05/2022 23:21

She has those lines from eye to cheek - my husband had the same after his sinus operation. They wear off.
