SOTD MFK Bacarrat Rouge 540 Hair perfume

I just put on some nuxe prodigieux skin oil. I think it's turned. Smells odd.

SOTD earlier was Fugazzi Orange Crush. Now wearing 4160s Rhubarb & Citrus cologne. DP always says he can smell marijuana as soon as I put this one on, not sure I’d risk wearing it to the office!

@Chevyimpala67 Oils always seem to turn after a year or two with me, it's very annoying. You can only use a little, so you'd think they would last.

SOTD Sana Jardin Berber Blonde. Bergamot, neroli, orange blossom. It’s pretty good but MH Lumiere Doree is still my favourite neroli.

It’s really hot here already. Toying with heading down to the beach but not sure I can face getting in the car (it’s only 15 minutes away, but still).

SOTD (yesterday) Le Labo Another 13. Nice, but I prefer Glossier You in a similar sort of vibe. I thought the Glossier would be a bit young smelling for me, but I actually love it.

Today, I don't know. I really want to try my By the Fireplace sample but I suspect that's not one for a hot day like this...

SOTD is Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Nerolia Vetiver. It was one of the samples in last month's Escentual blind trial box. Notes are neroli, vetiver, fig and basil. It smells fresh and bright so is quite perfect for today's hot weather.

Right...I'm going with avon lbd the dress. This is very fresh and cool.
It's got a snow accord (whatever that is!)
I get lots of compliments when I wear the avon lbd range :)

I think I've worked out why mumsnet has become so slow - big, long ads! They are huge now, and take up my whole screen, quite a few per page and for such inane things. I keep scrolling furiously past them. They were tiny, unobtrusive little boxes previously. How irritating.

I spent 40 minutes yesterday trying to post on this thread (while watching the tennis) but couldn't and eventually gave up. So annoying.

Anyway, yesterday's SOTD was MM Lazy Sunday Morning, and evening was Pear Inc. Today it's Lazy Sunday Morning again.

Bored today so I've just ordered the Cheirosa 62 body mist to try as had a couple of money off vouchers from Feel Unique after doing the sample pick and mix thing so it was cheap. I've also ordered a bucket load of L'Occitane shower gel, soap, hand cream etc from M&S. Need to hide the credit card (and actually do some work) now!

SOTD is Miller Harris Vetiver Insolent. With hindsight it's a bit heavy for todays weather but I'm home alone so there's nobody here to offend.

Sotd is Aqua Allegoria Bergamote Calabria. I can't bear anything heavier. I have so many samples to try just now but I can't face them till the weather cools down!

@CorneliaStreet sorry for the slow response about Ormonde Jayne. They are a funny one for me. I have loads of samples and they all smell very classy and beautiful but none of them really stand out to me and they fade so fast. I can't smell them at all after an hour or so. So I don't have a fb of any of them. I really want to love them but somehow they all miss the mark.

Tried a sample of Chanel Gabrielle that came with some makeup. I love the smell but the scent doesn’t last on me at all. Maybe it’s this heat. I’m in a lazy mood and want to be drenched in nice smells, but it’s not happening. Have set up reed diffusers all over the place to try and get a better effect.

Starting to worry my new perfumes won't arrive by Friday 😬

Sotd is my sample of Hera from Karen Timson. A bit too herbal for my liking so won't be buying a full bottle but perfect for this heavy weather.

SOTD MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 Hair Mist I just spray it on myself - it’s a lot lighter than the perfume.
