@CorneliaStreet that Armani set is lovely, my favourite is Si Fiori.

I haven't tried Creamy Vanilla Crumble from 4160, but I blind bought a small bottle of Rhubarb & Custard 1:29 and it's lovely. I like rhubarb notes in fragrances and this one isn't too sweet, it has a pleasant sharpness.

Yes, I got coconut too so I sold it!
It infuriates me when I get coconut or almond notes when they aren't listed (it wouldn't bother most people I'm sure)

Chevyimpala67 hope you feel better soon, my DP also had a really bad throat and could hardly eat. One of my colleagues had the same covid symptoms and in both cases it took about 5 days for their throats to feel normal but neither had the heart issues you've experienced.

@Chevyimpala67 the sore throat was my main symptom second time round, it still comes and goes. The best thing I found was a tea with ginger, lemon and turmeric - Pukka and Twinings both do a version but you could make it yourself if you had the ingredients. I added a shot of brandy before bed too.

sOTD Diptyque Geranium Odorata. Have been in bed with a migraine most of the day. Bleurgh.

The Pukka ginger, lemon and turmeric tea is lovely @Judystilldreamsofhorses I received some in a hamper for Christmas. It is so warming and cosy, I can imagine how great that would feel when ill. Hope your migraine is better; they are awful.

Today's sample is 4160T Sexiest Scent. This one is really interesting, definitely the most interesting of everything I've tried so far. Reminds me of a hybrid of Molecule 01 and Le Labo Poivre 23. Black pepper and ISO E Super on first spray. Now soft vanilla is coming through. Intriguing!

I'm so glad you like it. It's the 1st perfume I ever bought from 4160tuesdays and I love it :)

Sorry to say I had it for weeks, @Chevyimpala67 . I had a checkup at the dentist a few weeks after and she said it was very inflamed but no infection. I really hope you feel better soon ❤️

Would the wise perfume people advise where you keep your perfumes please?

I've always thought you should keep them in the dark.. is this true or is it outdated?

I want to display the lovely bottles on a windowsill, although it's in my dressing room and the blind is permanently closed do no direct bright light.

I keep mine in a deep (closed) drawer. I don't keep the boxes as I wouldn't have room...

I also have a tray on my dresser with my current wears/choices so I'm mot opening the drawer too much.

I also keep my fragrances in the dark. I have a couple of perfumes that I kept on top of a chest of drawers - not even in full sunlight - and I think it's really noticeable that the top notes are compromised. For a few minutes after spraying the scent is muted and somewhat sour, but the mid and base notes seem OK.
