Sotd is Diptyque Eau Duelle. I am heading into the office today so wanted something that would last without being overpowering. I bought it quite recently and I absolutely love it.

IrisApfelRocks · 04/05/2022 08:39

SOTD is Nejma Sublime

ChiswickFlo · 04/05/2022 10:46

I do enjoy wearing avon timeless
I don't know why I don't wear it more often

Thanks for the welcomeSmile SOTD is Black Tie by Celine. I love this one so much but I wish it lasted longer on me. It feels like a perfume neutral - one that always works when I don't know what I am in the mood for.

@CorneliaStreet I love Incense Water and Tiger By Her Side. The latter is one of my favourites.

I will be in St Pancras tomorrow so am going to pop into Chanel and sniff some of Les Exclusifs. I particularly want to try Beige.

I rather like coromandel

SOTD is No19, for a grey day spent hiding away at home. 🙂

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 04/05/2022 17:39

SOTD also Chanel 19. I had a dentist checkup and scale and polish and I always wear it for courage. (All good and now have gleaming white teeth!)

Bretonbear · 04/05/2022 17:49

Hello

SOTD is Waterlily Tea Dress by Zara. It's beautiful

I've been a bit hibernaty today too :)

SOTD Miller Harris Secret Gardenia. I love this, it’s a white floral but a light, fresh one.

I've been naughty and ordered the pp kayali vanilla dupe for ds2 (he loves it)

I've also ordered myself some emma bridgewater mugs (had a 20% off code but still...)

I may have to bury my debit card in the back garden 🤣😬

Sotd is Wonder Rose from Zara. Thanks for the indirect reminder about this one @Bretonbear.

I tried all the Chanel Exclusifs at St Pancras last night. My fave was definitely Sycomore. I did love Coromandel too but I think Tiger By Her Side is better. Is that sacrilege??

I also discovered Paris-Venise and Paris-Riviera which I had never come across before and have totally fallen in love with! I get the feeling they might not last long though so maybe aren't worth the money.

FestivelyScent · 05/05/2022 23:36

Welcome to the thread @Bretonbear 👋😊

I love Emma Bridgewater mugs @ChiswickFlo - stylish and homely at the same time. 😊

Sounds like a wonderfully perfume-y day @musicmum75 🙂

SOTD was Miss Dior Originale, a spring-y perfume for a beautifully sunny day spent running errands. I wanted to hide away again this morning, but am glad I went out instead - it gave my spirits a much needed lift.

SOTN is Angel's Share. I'm so exhausted - I could sleep for an absolute age! 😴🙃

ChiswickFlo · 06/05/2022 08:08

Sotd avon lbd celebrate again

Yes I love them @FestivelyScent....I like a decent mug. I have no truck with fiddly tea and coffee cups!

I like Emma Bridgewater mugs too, also the big chunky Le Creuset ones. I reckon I have more mugs than I will ever need in a lifetime - I think it will be the same with perfume soon, the way things are going!

SOTD is a Perfume Society sample, Spring Dance by Jusbox. Big blast of grapefruit at first, then jasmine and honeysuckle. It's good, but similar to others I already have.

Last night was Si by Armani, which is a favourite of mine. I recently got a small bottle of a Next one called Rouge Absolue as it is supposed to be a good dupe, so I tried them side by side. The Armani is richer when you smell them next to each other but the Next is still lovely and a total bargain. I think Next perfumes overall are really good.

I really rate some of the next perfumes

Sotd is Nectar and Passionfruit from the Discover Intense range at M&S.

This is the third one I have tried from that range. It's pleasantly fruity but nothing special.

I have also tried Mandarin & Ylang Ylang. I expected to love that one but disappointingly I thought it smelled like shampoo.

I did like the Seasalt & Neroli. It was very fresh and light and seemed like a good dupe for Un Air de Bretagne from L'Artisan Parfumeur.

The little bottles from this range are only £6, and with a Sparks card there is often 20% off Beauty so they are worth a try!

ChiswickFlo · 06/05/2022 10:49

Ds2 has pinched my molecule 01 and 02 🙂
I'm glad he's into scent
Ds1 has no interest at all

I need to order DD some clothes from Marks today, that Neroli & Sea Salt will probably fall into my basket now 😆

Sote penhaligons halfeti

Marvellous spicy perfume

DramaAlpaca · 07/05/2022 00:01

Funnily enough, my DM asked me to pick up the M&S Mandarin & Ylang Ylang as she'd seen it in a magazine. She loves it, I agree with @musicmum75 that it's a bit like a nice shampoo. I also bought a bottle of Florentyna, which @MissBattleaxe recommends in her book.

I found a Penhaligon's shop on my travels and got to try a couple, including Bluebell which was a wonderful earthy floral. I got a sample set which includes Halfeti, but haven't opened the box yet.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 07/05/2022 00:11

SOTD Diptyque Philosykos. DP has Covid now and I feel like barricading the door and never leaving the house ever again.

FestivelyScent · 07/05/2022 00:19

Hoping your DP feels better soon @Judystilldreamsofhorses 💐

SOTD is Jicky.

ChiswickFlo · 07/05/2022 06:38

Hope your dh is OK @Judystilldreamsofhorses

Dh is meeting a friend today so will be out til this evening.

Ds1 is writing end of module essays and is a tad stressed. Ds2 will be in his room/on his gaming PC usual :)

I'm awake stupidly early again. No idea re sotd yet. I'll shower and decide
