That might have been me! I have one myself and it's a dead ringer. I SO miss the original.

I sell perfume on eBay even if it's slightly used. Some buyers massively try it on with stupid offers, but I ignore them. It's a handy side hustle. I like getting the notifications that's something's sold or someone's paid. Otherwise, I give a lot away to friends and family.

Thanks for the tips re moving on meh perfumes. I might try the ebay route. Maybe we could arrange a Bring And Swap event sometime! I bet we could all bring something we don't like anymore along lol.

sotd is Dior Blooming Bouquets which I love but I don't think is very popular on here? I love this one... it reminds me strangely of the original 90s aqua Di gio by armani. Just wish it lasted a bit longer.

I've been wandering round the city on a night out and a lot of people had strong, (and some rather) lovely perfumes on. It made me feel like perhaps I'm wasting my time with my subtle 'skin scents' and I should get something with a bit more 'oomph'! SOTD Le Labo - Thé noir

Hello - my I join you? My SOTD is Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarin Basilic.
Ilike a lot of Guerlain fragrances, especially the Aqua Allegoria (but they’re not very long lasting)and Mon Guerlain.
I’m on a lifelong quest to replace an old Body Shop perfume oil called Roma - I can still smell it if I concentrate but I haven’t had any for about 30 years!

I’d really appreciate some recommendations please - everything new I try seems to smell of sweeties.I’d prefer something floral but with a bitof a tang.

For floral tang I'd suggest a discovery set from 4160tuesdays

She does Interesting florals really well

My SOTD is Utopia by Kayali. Just got it yesterday.

SOTD was Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil, I have a huge array of fragrances I've collected over the years and Un Jardin Sur Le Nil along with Acqua Allegoria Pamplelune are my firm favourites for when it starts to heat up!
I used to LOVE Marc Jacobs Eau De Parfum in the square bottle with a black plastic integrated atomiser in the lid, gorgeous, fresh gardenia scent with just the right amount of aquatic undertones and greens to not be heady or cloying, then the bastards discontinued it and I haven't found ANYTHING that comes close to it 😥

SOTD has been JPG La Belle. I like it for its pear and vanilla notes.

SOTD is Mugler's Angel Nova eau de parfum. I got a little tester bottle from an online purchase. It's a tart-yet-fruity fragrances that's seems to bear no resemblance to the original angel. It's sweet but it's ok. I don't get sick of the sweetness as the day goes on (I do with quite a few gourmands, despite loving them all initially) but I wouldn't reach for it regularly or use it for a special occasion. Sadly I don't get the hind of oud others smell. It's just various shades of tart and sweet throughout the day for me.

Sotd will be LJR sandalwood sacre as its just about the only scent my ds1 likes!

I'm quite tempted to order the Eden dupe of Gucci Envy. I'm not sure if I ever tried the original but everyone raves about it and from the notes on Fragrantica it looks like my sort of thing. I've had a couple of other things from Eden and they've been good.

@ReallyNeedingSleep I'm a big fan of the Hermes Jardins. I want to buy a full bottle of one but I can't decide between Sur le Nil and Sur le Toit. SOTD is Miller Harris Secret Gardenia. Not sure if you've tried this one already, but if you're looking for a fresh gardenia scent with some aquatic/citrus notes, this might be worth a go.

This is probably really sad, but I actually dreamed about perfume last night. In my dream I finally got to try Coromandel and was then gutted when I woke up and I couldn’t smell anything on my wrist 😂

Todays SOTD is Woman in Gold by Kilian. It's really beautiful. I don't have the nose to pick out notes but it's a little citrusy and floral with lots of depth. Somehow grown up and long lasting but not old or overpowering. DH got it for me as part of a discovery travel set from by Kilian. I'll be gutted when it's gone but lovely as it is... I'm not willing to pay £150+ for a bottle of perfume!

Oh that's dangerous @Chevyimpala67 ! They don't have lady in gold but I've already found Moonlight in Heaven which was my favourite out of the four fragrances in the set

@CorneliaStreet Ooh! I actually have a sample of Secret Gardenia knocking around somewhere, I'll have to go find it!
Isn't Sur Le Toit supposed to smell grassy/apple-y? not too sure if I've tried that one, I also have Un Jardin En Mediterrane which is lovely too; very citrussy and fresh but smoky as well at the same time. Sur Le Nil smells very fruity and fresh but its more "grown-up" fruity rather than a sickly body mist type fruity, divine!

SOTD is Hermes Eau Des Mervilles, fresh but warm goodness!

I've ordered some LJR oriental Sans Souci as I got a code with my discovery set.

I've enjoyed wearing LJR sandalwood sacre today. It's supposed to be heating up this week ☹️ so I'll be miserable 😩

The temperature is going to be 30° here on Friday, but it is getting very much warmer from tomorrow. I will have wilted by the weekend! I don't do hot weather either. 🔥🥵😑
