Is this dress OTT for a friends wedding?

I'm going to a wedding in may, and I already own this dress,
I think it's probably a but much for a wedding, but it so beautiful and would love to get more wear out of it.

Honest opinions please!

I friggin LOVE the rainbow one but it’s not very wedding. I do think the pink would look excellent with the bottom tier removed

How you accessorise it will make a huge difference. You clearly have a very particular look and you already own this.

One of the things I remember enjoying most about my own wedding was seeing the vast array of outfits and the real effort people had gone to. Nothing would have been OTT - it’s a joy to see people dressed up and loving it

The pink dress reminded me of Villanelle. I'd go with the second one you posted as the bridesmaids as in pink. Both beautiful dresses. I'm don't suit frilly and am not tall enough to carry either of them off - you'll look fabulous I've no doubt.

I love it, but I'm a needle and thread fan. If you wanted a slightly toned down version what about one of their skirts (I'm coveting the Florence) with a simpler top? Removes any risk of looking like a bridesmaid

I have just had a look at their website - it’s like the childhood dreams of the girliest girl ever! They are absolutely charming and clearly will make whoever is wearing them feel like a Princess. I would look laughably bad in any of them but I would get real vicarious pleasure from

I get married in May and I would say it's not too much at all, perfect for a wedding

Beautiful dress, very stylish. I would say wear it as often as you can, take enjoyment from it and no it's not ott for a wedding guest

Some of these replies are crazy to me! Needle and thread is my go to for weddings. Weddings, christenings, baby showers etc I'd say they're both perfect.

Even if bridesmaids are in pink, they will absolutely not be the only ones there in it as it’s such a popular colour. Go ahead and shorten it, wear with some awesome accessories and enjoy!
