I think the suit is very on trend - reminds me of the 90s. Even though a different fit might suit her better. Her jewellery is love too - and seems a bit 90s to me. She looks wonderful and I love how she always gets her shoes right. I don't think she has ever worn a pair of shoes I didn't love.

So you think if the jacket was open with pushed up sleeves it would be better? Rather than the Edward effect?

I think it looks awful on her- jacket way too big and too long, trousers ill-fitting and look dreadful with white stilettos.She was tottering in them. The fabric looks cheap- although it won't be. Wearing a jacket without a top is just naff. And I hate the gold chain bracelet looped round her fingers- it's vulgar, like an ankle bracelet. I cringed when I saw it.

This! Meghan doesn't always get the clothes right but her shoes and accessories are always perfect.

I love the idea of the white Valentino trouser suit, but as others have said, she looks like she’s drowning in this one. Bag and shoes are good though. The hand chain boggles me - I could not wear anything like that, I’d get it caught on something in a hot minute. .

Meghan looks beautiful as usual, but I am also not a fan of the oversized blazer look, which, though currently very fashionable, is not a good look on many women, I think. I like the trousers, though, and all of her accessories.

I think she looks marvellous in everything but the suit.

Apparently slouchy suits are in right now so Meghan is bang on trend. As is Edward and his double-breasted blazers!

I'm not keen on the blazer or the hand chain thing. The blazer is just the wrong proportions for her. Other than that she looked fine.

I would get the hand chain caught on every single door handle.

I’ve seen a very sweet story doing the rounds in which Meghan gave her (Max Mara) coat (which she was wearing over her Valentino suit) to a competitor to help keep the woman’s newborn baby warm.

I've never seen hand chains before. Am not a fan as part of this formal look. I also don't particularly like the necklace - I think it's the pinky red stones which are the only pop of colour in this outfit which jar.

The outfit is expensive and formal, her jewellery is half uber expensive (engagement ring / watch) and half the kind of stuff that might appeal to teenage girls (the hand chain and necklace). I'm curious as to why she chose to wear those.

Overall though she looks very well groomed, beautiful and happy. I hope she isn't going to start wearing all white for all big events à la Geri. I think Meghan wore a white dress at the concert last autumn.

I do get the impression that Meghan is very fashion forward and likes to keep up with the latest trends, even if they don’t necessarily suit her. She does seem very trendy but not always stylish (although she does look neat and well groomed). I think this is why I don’t seem to like the majority of her clothes, too modern, neutral and shapeless for my personal style. I prefer classic, fitted and colourful.

Please prove me wrong Meghan 😆 I need a good fashion fix!

She's 5'6" so not a titch! She does often seem to be shorter than a lot of the people around her though!

Meghan keeping it casual at Invictus in jeans, aviators and a Chanel-esque jacket.

I remember the first time I saw her pictured with Harry, it was at the Invictus Games and she was in ripped jeans and a white shirt. I thought it was a good look! Nice to see her back in jeans.

Ah apparently the jacket is Celine. And she's in flats for a change! I don't know who the blonde lady is but she's a dead ringer for Naomi Watts!

The flats look like Celine or Chanel. Nice look.

I think the cropped jacket suits her proportions a lot better than the oversized blazer from yesterday.

As we've often said on these threads before, Meghan does casual very well. Great look.
