Please be honest Is my belly huge? Do I look like a frog with big upper and skinny legs?

And yes I'm not wearing a bra - my choice

Is my belly huge

Omg this thread is harsh AF!

You look fine and perfectly normal. I am gobsmacked people are so judgemental (even if she she’s asked the question)

stimpyyouidiot · 22/03/2022 18:11

@Nelliephant1

I honestly cannot believe people on this thread saying that op is chubby, untoned and needs to lose weight

There is not a thing wrong with her. If you want to give people a complex about their weight or shape and trigger an eating disorder then carry on the way you're all going!!!

You should be ashamed of yourselves. Engage your brains for goodness sake!

Agree. Op there's nothing wrong with the way you look.
KylieCharlene · 22/03/2022 18:31

You look around a size 12-14.
Similar to myself you also look like you carry weight on your middle and upper body.
I also have slim legs and extra weight makes me look out of proportion.
You are obviously not huge.

marypoppins2022 · 22/03/2022 18:57

@Nelliephant1 thank you for sticking up for me. I can't believe all the abuse I'm getting. What a lovely bunch some of you are - not!!!

OP posts:
marypoppins2022 · 22/03/2022 19:00

Thank you to everyone who has been nice. To answer a few questions im 5"2 and yes carry it all around my middle. I shall deffo be investing/getting measured for a bra soon

Some people on here are so unbelievably rude and it seems like these people were dragged up as manners cost nothing - if you have nothing nice to say then keep quiet!!!

The abuse to the op on this thread is dreadful and I've reported.

Op, I think you have a curvaceous figure but you're not dressing to its advantage. A good bra, ditch the leggings for proper skirts and trousers and opt for tops/dresses which minimise waist.

And no, your belly doesn't look massive and you absolutely don't look frog like.

superdupertruper · 22/03/2022 19:10

@marypoppins2022

I like the baggy T-shirts yes I've had so many compliments about that pink one but it's also a bit of hiding too. I am trying to lose weight tho. I've heard trampolining is very good and I love a good bounce so might try that

Any idea where is good in south london to get measured properly for a bra

I know I'm going to sound mean but seriously who has complimented you on that t shirt? And what specifically? The colour? Because other than that it's completely shapeless and does you no favours. Are you unhappy with your body? Do you exercise and eat healthily but find you don't have the body you feel you deserve because I can relate to that. If however you don't exercise and don't watch what you eat then you are the size you are meant to be with that lifestyle. Forgive me if you have disabilities or illnesses that prevent exercise or healthy eating. I haven't read your past history.

OP, I don't think you look overweight, you just look like you have an apple shaped figure and carry your weight around your middle. Wear tops and dresses that are loose around the waist and fitted on your legs. Tunic shaped dresses should work well with tights, or tops that are floaty round the waist and skinny jeans.

PinkSyCo · 22/03/2022 21:12

Like mine, your belly is a bit flabby but not huge no. Why? Has someone said something?

IvorCutler · 22/03/2022 22:27

@HollowTalk

Please don't go on a trampoline without a bra on!
🤣
marypoppins2022 · 23/03/2022 07:45

To my answer some questions. No one has said anything about my weight I'm just aware of my belly

To the rude poster asking who has complimented me on the pink shirt - well me they didn't like it on me but liked the suit itself the colour and style etc.

Off to get my bra situation sorted today

OP posts:
gunnersgold · 23/03/2022 10:26

Leggings as trousers aren't the most flattering . Why don't you try jeans and thr shirt tucked in.

TabithaTittlemouse · 23/03/2022 10:30

Look at boob or bust, you need a tape measure and then go and try some on in a selection of shops.

isthismylifenow · 23/03/2022 10:47

You have great legs OP.

Perhaps try to focus on the good bits and not so much the bits you don't like.

I know bras can be really uncomfy, but I have found myself wearing a bralette a bit more these days. And there are all types of sports bras that will give you some support. I am not as blessed of chest as you are, but its for support more than anything. Ie of your back as well.

What about a knee length dress, maybe even a wrap style. You will need bra wearing one of those though....

BusterGonad · 23/03/2022 12:25

M&s lace bralettes are very comfy, also try t shirts with v necks, scoop necks etc high crew necks will just emphasise your belly (with isn't massive, just slightly round like many women, me included) try some slim cut jeans to show off your legs. Good luck with the bras.

BusterGonad · 23/03/2022 12:26

And yes to the poster mentioning wrap styles, they are perfect for if you have big boobs and a bit of a tummy. Wrap dress are so flattering and wrap tops look great with jeans.

Completely agree. "Chubby" indeed.
THisbackwithavengeance · 23/03/2022 12:35

I came onto say what planet are those calling the OP "chubby" and "not obese" on?

But I can see others beat me to it!

marypoppins2022 · 23/03/2022 15:31

I do have great legs yes I love them - thank you to whoever said that

I have invested in a bra and will upload a pic later once kids are less hectic lol

IdblowJonSnow · 23/03/2022 15:34

Some very unpleasant and rude responses on here - irrespective of whether or not the OP is a repeat poster!
