Please be honest Is my belly huge? Do I look like a frog with big upper and skinny legs?

And yes I'm not wearing a bra - my choice

Is my belly huge

You need a better bra op and trousers that don't snaps your waist in half, looser waist band.

isthismylifenow · 24/03/2022 10:17

@marypoppins2022

I AM wearing a bra in the recent pics in the blue top. That's why I'm asking how do I look now I have a bra on - does it make a difference
Not really OP as the shirt appears too big tbh.

As others have suggested, perhaps put on a more fitting shirt or vest type top with the shirt over it, but left open.

GregBrawlsInDogJail · 24/03/2022 10:19

The bra helps a bit but is not really lifting as it should. I don't think it's well fitted.

Those huge shirts do you no favours at all, and make it impossible to answer your question. Please ditch them.

@marypoppins2022 - the huge shirts hide the bra. You need some more fitted tops/tshirts on with your bra and then posters would be able to tell if your bra fitted/suited you.

I do think you are an apple shape though which can be harder to dress than other shapes as you have weight/fat in the stomach area.

BusterGonad · 24/03/2022 12:41

That checked shirt is the least flattering thing I've seen. You need new tops.

LaraDeSalle · 24/03/2022 12:56

Is this obsession with your figure due to a transition from a male to female?

Oh mumsnet… honestly why on earth is this a question?

This poster has posted many times in the past with the same dilemma and is clearly a woman with young children.

Calandor · 24/03/2022 13:58

You look fine and healthy/slim. Most women have a tiny bit of fat on their lower stomach unless they're majorly into working out or v young. I've always had it. Be kinder to yourself.

thunderonlyhappenswhenits · 24/03/2022 14:01

Leave the shirt open instead with a cami vest underneath or maybe a v neck thin T-shirt

What is your reasoning for this question?

I wear lots of lovely dresses too not just those 2 shirts. Believe it or not my wardrobe isn't that limited. Over the next few days I'll post another pic with a more fitted outfit on

For the love of god, why??? You’re clearly looking for some sort of validation/attention, and you’ve received lots of both. You look fine. Move on! We really don’t want more photos Hmm

LaraDeSalle · 24/03/2022 15:31

I asked because the face is scribbles out and the hips are slimmer than ether waistline so wondered if the op was preoccupied with about their figure because of transitioning.

I have not seen previous posts so was unaware the poster has children etc.

I didn’t mean to offend you op, I just wandered why as others have said you keep posting wanting to know how you look.

Now that I know you are female then I would say you have an apple shaped figure and wearing clothes to suit your shape will help as well as having supportive and properly fitting underwear.

Hula hooping is a good exercise for the waist and something you can do at home when the kids are in bed.

WOW
GregBrawlsInDogJail · 24/03/2022 16:13

There's a cohort of posters positively obsessed with the idea that MTF transitioners are everywhere seeking to get their sexual kicks from innocent MNers, and several posters on Style and Beauty have been accused of being men on the basis of having an insufficiently "feminine" body/ excessively "feminine" dress sense.

I scribbled out my face cos I do t want to be identifying in real life. In case someone on here knows me in real life

OP posts:
SevernEleven · 24/03/2022 16:38

What's your waist measurement OP?

Try this

LaraDeSalle · 24/03/2022 16:38

@fridgepants

No, I get it - a man transitioning might be more conscious of a belly as men are more likely to store fat there than women, and it's the kind of thing that I expect would make one dysphoric. Just as a woman transitioning may feel less masculine if they had a distinctly hourglass figure.
That is exactly what I first thought but as I have said it’s now been stated by others that the poster is definitely female so I have given my own advice on what appears to be an apple shaped figure.
