See Kate? That’s still formulaic - you can still have your uniform! However she mixes it up enough for it to have a bit more interest. She could have made it even better by not matching hat, boots and bag. But still a lovely outfit.

No, justasking, the local people have protested. I thought it was still going ahead elsewhere. I was surprised to learn the country being visited has to pay to put them up etc. We will have Charles and Camilla half a mile away from me here in Ireland next week! Road to be closed. A big boost for a local Grow your Own cafe.

I don’t mind samey if there’s at least some element of design difference. It’s entirely different seeing Zara in something samey because it’s different enough for me. I don’t mean Kate has to wear an entirely new or different coat each time...just mix it up at least a tiny bit!

I feel as if I come across very critical of Kate. I’m really not. I think she always looks perfectly lovely. I liked all the photos posted of her outfits very much. But...

Ah well maybe I just have to accept that that’s what she likes and we’re due another 40+ years of almost identical coat dresses.

Edward and Sophie are off to the Caribbean soon too, basically going to the countries the Cambridges aren't visiting. He's currently in Kenya, still wedded to his double-breasted jackets...

This tour is going to be lovely. Kate might not get everything right every time when she tries new things (I really don’t mind that!) but hopefully there’s a good chance she’ll wear something a little different to what we see at home! 🤞

I love that outfit on Zara - imo it's the nicest of her racing outfits this week.

The raspberry colour is lovely but I prefer the Hobbs coat in a similar shade that Kate has. Mainly because I have the same one in green! I still think Zara looks like she's been to Ted Baker or Karen Millen in about 2012 when she's dressed up. She looks great in casual clothes though.

I think Zara's also not that bothered about fashion and more at home in a Barbour and boots. I always think Ted Baker from 10yrs ago about her outfits! Her mum has a refreshing approach to recycling outfits, so maybe it's true!

I love that raspberry pink on Zara...she needs a bigger handbag for her winnings though...
