Was just trying to post when it filled up Grin

Sorry about some of the responses OP, please don't start to question yourself and lose your confidence!
I love the saying 'Be yourself, everyone else is taken'.

I love your style and I'm sure you will look fabulous whatever you wear. Thanks

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 12/02/2022 21:54

Ha! Was posting the following when the ‘Closed’ sign went up! Grin

Grin few posts from me about the original dress, the Westwood and the silver one. The. Just two posts about you @BearOfEasttownand I’ve derailed!! Oh, you’re a card!

OP, have a wonderful time finding the dress if the size up is not the one (but hope it is). You have cracking style and a great attitude.

Kenworthington · 12/02/2022 21:54

So was I! I was just regaling dh with the sudden ‘infighting’ it was just getting fascinating, never mind the frocks!

Shall I throw a curve ball and say the cream colour was my favourite? 😂

Squarepegs01 · 12/02/2022 21:58

Omfg, it's back. 😂

Kenworthington, I love you.

Kenworthington · 12/02/2022 21:59

Love the cream one too!

Kenworthington · 12/02/2022 22:02

Does anyone remember that posted that was looking for that green feather ganni dress and everyone hated it (apart from me/ I’d also been searching for the fanned thing for years) then she finally got it and suddenly everyone loved it?? Remember that? I remember that. Orville and Oscar the grouch I think was the comparison that time. I needed up ordering it in silver. It was huge and crap and I looked like a turkey in foil. Ah well . Forever buying mad things other people hate. Then suddenly don’t. But secretly probably do

I like the floral pattern but I think it would hide your lovely figure. I just don't think it's a flattering shape.

Kenworthington · 12/02/2022 22:11

Does it NEED to be ‘flattering’? Could it not just be a cool tent like frock? I am a fan of a buffet dress…

Anyone want to meet Colin the elephant cat? He’s a total tart…

Not so keen. I’m usually a fan of a Laura Ashley sofa inspired dress but that’s too shapeless for you for the wedding. Good weekend dress. Not MOG.

NoneOfYour32Potatoes · 12/02/2022 22:15

Yay!

I couldn’t follow the infighting.

I liked the dress you bought but agree the champagne colour was my preference.

HerRoyalHappiness · 12/02/2022 22:16

Having read the entirety of the last thread without commenting I'm here to say I loved the cream dress Grin

NoneOfYour32Potatoes · 12/02/2022 22:17

Awwwww Colin, the fat cat.

If that's a style you wear and know suits you then go for it. I don't think a dress has to be too fitted but just from your pictures you look like you have a lovely figure Smile
