C’mon I couldn’t leave it like that. I was starting to very much enjoy the derailment….

How do you feel about snakeskin or is that too much of a pattern? There is an asymmetric Christopher Kane dress in Silver snakeskin or a Mikael Aghal one in ruffled georgette (but it is no where near as fabulous as the needle and thread one).

I don’t know how tall you are but I am 5ft 4.5 with very short legs and I have a similar Badgley mischka dress that I think looks great. I just had to get it hemmed up a little bit at the bottom.
Sexnotgender · 13/02/2022 13:22

I’m 5ft 1 on a good day 😂

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/02/2022 13:24

Assume you hated mine @Kenworthington ?

Bonkers but I love the colour and would look good with the tattoos.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/02/2022 13:33

Plain black classic and gorgeous. I assume you wouldn't have worries about black not being suitable.

NeverChange · 13/02/2022 13:37

I only saw some of your first thread.

I didn't love your dress, well I did but the red version, not the cream, but by now I love your attitude and humour. Just wear what you want, I think you have the confidence to pull off anything.

Kenworthington · 13/02/2022 13:38

I love the orange one @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie

Do you meant the green free people one? I did really like that one too Smile

Kenworthington · 13/02/2022 13:38

I’m 5’8

The patterned Free People one with bare shoulders.

Glad to see you are back to continue your hunt for the perfect dress.

PickAndChooseMe · 13/02/2022 15:25

Fuck me. The price of this!!! yeah I know I’m sorry Blush.

I’m irrationally over-invested. I really want the OP to find her unique dress and and piss off of all the haters 🙈 😂

PickAndChooseMe · 13/02/2022 15:40

Have you looked at BrandAlley? Although size availability could be a problem.

Love that you’re back and not totally poisoned by the unwarranted viper attack.

Have you had a look at Zimmermann? It’s an Aussie designer brand that does fabulous OTT clothes, and there are a lot of dresses in the sale. Just leaving this here…

ShangPie · 13/02/2022 16:02

Oh, and a lot of the sale dresses are cream and frilly Grin

tigerbear · 13/02/2022 16:22

How about this Needle & Thread one @Kenworthington? It’s sold out online, but someone is selling this on Vinted for £300 (rather than £595)

There's some good ones on that ShangPie.

LoveVelo · 13/02/2022 16:44

Some fab dresses been posted - I recall a DVF dress posted on the last thread, how about something like this?

uk.dvf.com/products/marquis-tiered-midi-dress-in-tie-dye-zebra?variant=41763878961326

Chiffon fabric and with it being DVF the colours will be stunning.

xsamix86 · 13/02/2022 16:59

@NotAnotherUserNumber

What about something like this? it’s another from the OUTNET which has lots of great options.
I saw part of the first thread on a work break now stalking this one and I am in LOVE with this dress! It is beautiful 😍
tigerbear · 13/02/2022 17:07

Whoop! You're back. I very much want to bait the twinset and pearls brigade see what you wear

MusicByTheLake · 13/02/2022 17:37

@MusicByTheLake and also … yet here YOU are.

Why wouldn’t I be? I never said that I wish I hadn’t posted. That was you.

It’s definitely entertaining. Here’s to the next 36 pages of madness. 🥂

midsomermurderess · 13/02/2022 17:46

I really like some of the Zimmerman dresses but they look like you'd need to be quite lean to fit them.

londonmummy1966 · 13/02/2022 18:19

Have a look at Nancy Mac - they do bespoke versions of their dresses for brides so you could get what you wanted

For example something like this in cream with a pastel or cream lace

www.nancymac.co.uk/collections/lace-dresses/products/kristen-longline-dress-in-moth-and-pink-lace-1

Or this - could even get it to match your tatoos

EinsteinaGogo · 13/02/2022 18:34

OP,

I read the other thread.... blimey!!!

I actually thought you looked bloody amazing in the photo you posted.

The combination of strong hair and tattoos with the excessively feminine dress was fantastic.

A good seamstress could adapt that dress so it's perfect for you.
