C’mon I couldn’t leave it like that. I was starting to very much enjoy the derailment….

Are you always a cunt?

Pulling up a pew..

Kenworthington · 14/02/2022 19:58

I’m dying to know what hobby you suggest for me @THEDEACON

I really like that @DiscoBadgers but am fearful of buying off a website like coast as I don’t want to end up wearing the same as someone else there. It’s a bit of a go-to for wedding guest outfits isn’t it

Coast in general might be, but I think it takes a certain level of panache to pull off a dress like that so I don’t think you’d see another person wearing it!

BigFatBloomers · 14/02/2022 20:20

I like this one
www.temperleylondon.com/gb/melina-v-neck-dress-pale-rose-mix.html
and you could toughen it up a bit with your DMs and, if you wore a marabou feather jacket with it, you'd look just like my Mary Quant Daisy doll I had when I was young.
Damn I wish I could find a photo so you could see...

I do like the Coast one (surprisingly) and the plum coloured one Remus posted a while back

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 14/02/2022 20:34
Ooh… this?

I actually read that dress name as 'sofa dress'

Amiable · 14/02/2022 20:42

I've RTFT (and the last one) and have realised there are essentially 2 types of people posting - those I want to be friends with and those I don't!!

What about something like this @Kenworthington ?

https://www.wolfandbadger.com/uk/satin-long-dress-red/
Would look fab with your tats!
Wolf and Badger have a few I think you'd like.

Or this?

Very dramatic (and I think the bride would approve Wink!) Lisou have also got some fabulous suits that I can see being your thing too...

What about this...

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 14/02/2022 20:51

Have you thought of something like this OP where you can design your own dress? Or find a seamstress local to you for inspiration? At least you know you'd have a one of a kind gown

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/02/2022 21:02

I really like that pink Coast one. It looks like a cross between a candy floss and something that Courtney Love might wear with a black bra poking out and possibly a vomit stain.

KimikosNightmare · 14/02/2022 21:10
Ha I also like this….

It's a gazillion times nice than toilet roll cover dress.

KimikosNightmare · 14/02/2022 21:30

What about Molly Goddard ?

KimikosNightmare · 14/02/2022 21:33

This Molly Goddard one would be gorgeous with a matching or contrasting silk slip.

Sweet Jesus. That is fucking horrific. The only use I can envision for it is for those rare occasions when the dress code asks you to come as a 1970s lampshade.

DiscoBadgers · 14/02/2022 21:38

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie I think we may have been separated at birth….

Broody1976 · 14/02/2022 21:56

This thread has me lol-ing. For the record, I adored the cream one from the original thread 😍 it was beauts & I suspect OP would totally smash the wearing of it!

BordelDeMerde · 14/02/2022 22:01

I love the golden FP dress so much, I'm seriously thinking of getting married myself just so I can wear it!

Please show us when it arrives, Ken. I'm very hopeful it will look fantastic on you.

Maybe OP has taken this up as her new hobby.
@Kenworthington Just be your own fabulous self. Wear what makes you happy. I've been told I shouldn't wear bright colours over a certain age because its being a show off. Truth is bright colours make me smile. Its all about confidence and I think we very much look at things as how they would look on us or suit us. Keep doing you and if you love it wear it. You are hurting no one.
Wow, what an amazing website. Now I need an occasion to get one of these dresses for!
