What to wear on my legs because I just don't know anymore

I'm a sahm, my dc are all at school during the day.

I NEED to get out of these leggings. It's just not doing anything for me anymore.

Since skinny jeans have gone and died, (and let's be honest they were not comfy anyway), what's everyone wearing on their legs ?? I'm so flippin stuck! I do sometimes wear jeans but I find them abit uncomfortable around the house.

I'm not a huge fan of joggers, it's just not how I dress.

I need something comfy but stylish that I can wear in and out of the house. It this piece of clothing exists and you've seen it, please do share

I wear these for wfh and trips to the supermarket etc. So comfy.

I had a pair like this for maternity they were lush! I can't remember who I gave them to. I miss them

I wear thick black tights, to complement my skirt or dress.

Have you tried 'walking leggings'? They fit like skinny jeans but have loads of stretch and are very comfortable. Try Peter Storm, Regatta or the pricier ones from ACAI.

Watching with interest but plus size and tall with a tummy. I find jeans kill me these days but could do with smartening myself up. Thinking of maybe trying the S&S apartment pants in black & navy (but think returns are maybe hard work). Also unsure about footwear that is comfortable, provides arch support but complements the look and doesn’t look frumpy or too young/trying too hard as I am mid 50’s.

Jeggings! I used to avoid them but I’m a total convert now. I have many pairs - denim jeans ones, black, khaki, grey, dark green, burgundy - I love them! Find a good pair, get the size right - and then buy up loads!

They’re so comfortable, but also look as smart as casual trousers or nice jeans. Nobody can tell mine are jeggings rather than ‘proper’ trousers.

Got one or two things from here, super comfy yet not quite as casual as joggers 👍

Absolutely agree that skirts are in short supply.

Can anyone recommend really comfy tights to wear with skirts please. I hate the feeling of regular tights. Would wool be better do you think? Off to Google Italian magic trousers!

I have just bought these cargo trouser from M and S. I bought them in black.

Cropped wide leg trousers are no use to me in January on the edge of the Pennines

Me too. Went jeans shopping last Monday. Tried every style in my size with a regular leg in the very well stocked and organised jeans department of M and S. Straight jeans/ boot cut mean that I just become a rectangle from the waist down. No curve to my body at all. Just solid. Mum jeans and boyfriend jeans create instant weight gain everywhere and a really butch/ frumpy vibe. Skinny jeans give me shapely legs, nice ankles and flatter my bum . So sod what's in and out. I am unlikely to meet many fashionistas /Vogue editors in my home town so I will be sticking with them.

In this cold weather I'm really liking my knitted wide leg trousers trousers (not the height of fashion but they're great with trainers, are comfortable and if it's really cold you can wear a pair of leggings underneath 🙊).

Mom jeans or midi skirts teamed with a nice knit jumper and boots/white trainers

I like the sound of the jersey dress with tights, but what shoes do you wear with them? I normally wear trousers so that I can wear trainers as it walk miles every day

Love both Next and H&M khaki chinos. They’re zipped but elasticated on the back waistband so super comfortable. I wear rolled up with chunky boots or sock trainers

I'm an old fashioned girl. M&S velvet leggings. Or opaque tights. DH would prefer me in dresses every day but that's not happening 😂
