Inspired by a minimalist YouTuber, I'm writing a list of things I am not buying in 2022.

I'm not buying anymore one event wonders! Things which only do for the very odd event. I barely go out these days and when I do, it's generally really casual. There is no need for cocktail dresses these days.
-
no more leggings - I have plenty and, truth be told, they don't really suit me
-
no more pointed flat shoes. I always buy these thinking they look smart enough for whatever but also are comfy as they are flat. I actually don't love how they look on me and I I find them they comfy. No more
-
no more dungarees! Keep trying, and keep failing, to suit these. Ditto pinafore dresses
-
no more tights. I don't wear tights! Why do I have so many? I think it's because tights and a dress used to be my go to outfit, but now don't wear dresses in winter and don't need tights in the summer, so there is no need for a drawer full of tights
-
mini skirts... I'm too tall and clumsy for these. Always show my arse
-
no more jewelery, ESPECIALLY statement pieces. I don't wear them
