That sounds horrid @FestivelyScent - do you have a list of things to watch or do you need any inspiration?

SOTD is 4160 over the chocolate shop - the original tester which I much prefer to the bottle I then bought. Richer and deeper with greater staying power.

SOTD 4160 Fluffy lemon top. I was wearing Over the chocolate shop at Christmas and my mum could smell it from the other side of the room. Worried I've been heavy handed in my spraying...my DP has a terrible sense of smell and my work colleagues are too polite to say anything.

@MaidEdithofAragon you might like Geo Trumper Spanish Leather if you're wanting something clean and soapy .It's quite reminiscent (ooh ,look what I did there!) of imperial leather soap .

But it only lasts about 5 mins onme!

SOTD - ghost orb of night. Got a sample of this and I actually really like it! It's got cherry and almond and is gourmand without being the usual vanilla. Very soft smelling

I grew up in the NE, Judy. That one made me smile; I haven't heard it in a few years.

Lang may yer lum reek literally translates to "Long may your chimney smoke!", signifying "may you live long"

It also means that as long as you have fuel for your fire, you are financially okay, or words to that effect.
