SOTD is Fahrenheit parfum, grabbed in a hurry. Cheerful parma violets and incense-y vanilla for a sunny but fresh day.

Lots of things turn quite incense-y on me (thankfully it's a note I adore and am drawn towards) - I was very pleased to detect an incense-y vibe in the base of yesterday's Angel's Share. That warm woody-balsamic dry down is just lovely. 😊

I'm still waiting for my PP order including Angel's Share. Apparently dispatched yesterday so hopefully here soon.

SOTD Miller Harris Lumiere Doree. I seem to be going through a bit of a Miller Harris phase. This is similar to Neroli Portofino, with the same sharp citrus opening, but to me the dry down of the MH is softer and prettier. Perfect for spring.

I've just had an email from Gallivant saying they will send me a sample of their new release out next month, Gdansk. Apparently the opening notes are plum, honey, cardamom, nutmeg and saffron, with a leather and sandalwood heart and an ambergris base.

Two very different scents for me today. SOTD Vera Wang Princess. SOTN Tom Ford Ombre Leather.

The TF is from my sample box and it is not something I'd ever normally buy myself but I really like it. It really does smell like leather and it makes me feel as though I should be riding a motorbike wearing it. I normally shy away from more masculine perfumes but I think Ombre Leather will be the exception.

I've also got new tablets to try - really hope they will give me some much needed clarity as I've felt so foggy and exhausted recently. Was seriously unimpressed though at being told to buy an obscure supplement costing £40 per month by my migraine consultant! Supposedly a very simple 'adjunctive treatment'. It's not available on prescription apparently - I wonder why! Grrr. 😕🙄

SOTD JM Peony & Blush Suede. I do like this and it lasts well on me but it is a bit disappointing after the apple pie and booze extravaganza of Angels' Share last night. That will be going on again later when I get home from work.

SOTD is Khôl de Bahrain by Stephanie Humbert Lucas 777 it's a beautiful iris and ambergris. First outing as it was a surprise birthday present and really enjoying it.
