Hi everyone.
I am going to be joining you, really enjoyed reading all the posts.
I have been looking for a new winter perfume, as I'm opposite seasons to you. But that also means as I don't live in UK I don't have access to so many options as you do.
I did two blind buys yesterday, from a company I use quite a bit. They sell used bottles, or those that have a dodgy lid etc, some were testers in shops etc. So it a good way to try out something that would normally be quite pricy, ay a reasonable price. So I have Tom Ford Extreme Lavender and JHAG Lady vengeance on the way. I haven't even tested either of these, so a real blind buy. I have a teen dd and she just loves perfume as well, so between us I'm sure they will get used. It was a bit of a risk though as I do love a good sniff test, but JHAG is quite hard to find here.
I have way more summer scents, as we have quite a short winter. My every day winter go to would be eau dynamisante and some ouds (which are locally made so not sure you would know them), so my summer totally outweigh my winter selection. My long time fave is Dune but I can't find a dupe and I'll be happy if I could find a sample bottle of this, but it's thin on the ground. I don't think it's discontinued, but it is quite limited now.
I do love Chanel, think Allure is my fave but Gabrielle, all the Chance range, coco, have a spot.
SOTD is Eau de Jardins it's hot today and this is easy and fresh.
I see Cloud has been mentioned quite a bit. I have a dupe from Zara, called Cheerful Attitude. I don't know if our ranges are the same but I hadn't seen anyone suggest this one.
Have a great Saturday everyone.
