Just tried on some old dresses I had lying around, and glad I did, because realised nothing fits me!

So what are you wearing to your works Xmas parties? Looking for inspiration...

@Teddansononmyown With the wardrobe I have, which is big on dresses, I would wear a short A line or shirt dress, probably in silk or a short. If it was shirt dress, I would keep it quite unbuttoned and unbelted. And then lots of nice jewellery. But that is working with the wardrobe I already have.

I wish we were having a dressy party, ours is a low-key weeknight meal out. Dying to wear something sparkly and OTT!

@cydonia it is really flattering, skims over my belly and is also stretchy so ideal for a big Christmas meal

I'm wearing this £20 from Tesco. First Christmas party in years so I'm going full sequin.

I got some tshirts for myself and my daughter, and hoodies for daughter, husband and myself online which I loved (beautiful prints!)
Also 4 summer dresses that I liked, and 3 sleepwear. All via eBay, since covid started and the shops were closed,
Well, recently I found them all in the Lightinthebox website, so I am giving it a go to more dresses!

Some really beautiful outfits on here! Unfortunately all the ones I ordered are going straight back so back to square one!

I saw this online and loved it. Unfortunately on me its more matronly Victorian governess so I think its going back.

Black wide leg trousers, top and boots here, we are pretty casual. I suspect if the invitations said "dress to impress" a lot of people wouldn't go.

Either a sequin mini with thin black knit, opaques and ankle boots or silver jacquard shorts and the same.
