Hope it’s ok to have started the thread as we seemed to run out of the last one a bit quickly! And I was really enjoying the thread and reading everyone’s thoughts.

I started reading the first one determined not to buy one this year.

Currently I have the Rituals one and have just ordered the Origins 12 Day one for the 12 days of Christmas!

Let the chat and decisions continue!

Regarding sorting and sorting like others I have my stash sorted into bags of cleansers, toners etc. Now that travel is back on the cards I will use them up that way.

‘100+ bought in the last 24 hrs’ so they must be selling well as they’ve only just come back in stock!

Still not stocked in store. I wonder whether it will ever make it to stores this year?!

I decided on jl finally as had vouchers. Thanks you guys were quicker than the back in stock jl should have sent me!

Quidco have got 35% cashback today with Holland and Barrett so ordered their Advent Calendar for £45 but due back £15.75 cashback. Just hope that works!

Gah once again I'm sitting on my hands struggling not to buy JL as I want Cult beauty more!

The NAP is perfect for me as my Mum tried and loved the Sturm serum in a previous box so I will get Uber daughter points! There are lots of lovely pampering bits I will use and the few serums Etc I won’t I will put on eBay.

I am leaning a bit toward the Liberty Men Calendar. I love the Votary Oil and the Nobel Isle shower gel is a favourite. DH had mentioned he wants some aftershave and there are a few ones there for him to try. Even the car fragrance would be a bit fun, plus gin of course!

@HowToMurderYourLife, I also think the Liberty Men’s looks quite good; I like the Venn concentrate too, and also the FM perfume. But DH has no interest in grooming stuff, and quite a few things would go to waste so have so far decided against it.

Good sleuthing @AprilLady .. I wonder whether they pushed the release back a bit to allow the DE Trunk to get some visibility?

So same release date as Harrods then. 80,000 of a wait list. Wow!!

I don't envy the marketing & sales teams of any of these large companies. Do you think they work on these all year?

Wow, no wonder cult beauty can't supply enough calendars. I have absolutely no idea how many they produce, but guessing that there could be at least 70,000 disappointed people looking for another calendar tomorrow. I think this is why a lot tend to sell out after the cult beauty release.

I went for Space NK in the end - I wasn't going to splash out on a £££ calendar this year, but then I got a surprise bonus at work and decided to treat myself with part of it

I guess it depends on what you want/need. For me, NAP, JL, Space NK and Liberty are much better than CB (in terms of products I use or want to try). My only problem with Liberty this year is that it feels it is the same as last year’s. And the year before last…

I wish that CB had confirmed their release date earlier. I wasted a lot of time this morning checking.

Ditto. So that's down to 79,998 people.

I'm so tempted by John Lewis - I use the ANR anyway and I'd like to try the AB Rich Cream (The Cream seems to suit me and the rich one might be useful now the weather's getting colder and I'm out on the beach with the dog most mornings) and the AA bath/shower oil and the This Works sleep spray are great....

But I did by the recent Next box and the Liberty Director's cut and I should really concentrate on using up my stash.

I think I'm going to resist the urge to splash out and the FOMO and hold back. Unless it gets discounted or they offer a GWP with it, obviously!

Talking of Liberty, did anyone else join their subscription scheme the other week?

I am still hoping for a Sniph advent calendar as I was very tempted last year and only held back because I already had three . This year I remain pure and empty of calendar. I seem to remember it was towards the cheaper end of the premium range too, and shipped internationally to me, as so many of this year's lot won't do.

BurningTheToast I joined the Liberty subscription scheme. It seemed a good way to save up for their beauty edits, GWPs or ACs. It's handy that there's free P&P on all beauty too. Their first beauty box will be sent out soon.
