I’m hoping I’ve been here long enough to be allowed to start the new thread. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s outfits as we move into my favourite fashion season.

I've got a cold (first time I've been ill since Covid stated) so didn't really make the most of the sunshine today. But did go out.

DH is away so cue the eldest and youngest child both waking up in the night several time then just as I got to sleep the cat decided to race round all the rooms upstairs 🙄 oh and Middle DD & DS have a ridiculous rivalry going on.
So today I just put clean clothes on thought that is enough 😉

Everyone looks great! @Chrispackhamspoodle welcome and I love your outfit. @EllaPaella you too ( are you buying those boots?) @DazzlePaintedBattlePants i lurked for about 2 years! When you feel comfortable post a photo if you want. You can always cut your head off like I do!
We cleared out a lot yesterday but now the sitting room is full of stuff to sort some of which made me cry ( 2 boxes full of DDs stuff from when you was about to go into y10 and she and I spent the summer getting new stationery, school bag etc etc ) and I have to get rid of it. Also she has very raised lymph nodes and that’s a worry.

Oh @Sickoffamilydrama I hope your DC settle. When we first moved here and DH worked away I was freaked by all the new noises ( muntjac deer barking for example). Nightmares are horrible x

It was raining when I got up. I’ve definitely underestimated the temperature - it’s much warmer than it looks. The jumper was overkill; I’ll reconsider when I get back home.

Just got back from the most beautiful sunrise sea swim and now heading back to the beach with kids and dog in tow as there is a surf festival this weekend. Another sunny day. Wearing the M&S jumper but with sandals on my feet when I go out not slippers

I will be wearing an ochre M&S card but its in the car...

I decided on my M&S blazer after seeing my photo.I wear it all the time.Might go and buy a black one as it is so versatile.
Bag also M&S.Birthday present as I needed a leather tan bag.
I think posting on here is going to remind me how much I actually love M&S.

I really like that jumper @OublietteBravo - I've been looking for one similar for this Autumn/Winter.

We've escaped the painting chaos to stay with my parents this weekend and next week as the bedrooms are being done now. DH and I actually got to go out for a meal last night as my parents babysat for us - was lovely to go out as a couple and the food was amazing. Got to give my new boots, which were an anniversary present from DH, their first outing, too!

Another thread has made me go looking for a cocktail dress as have a couple of work events soon.

Couldn't find any dresses I liked so thought jumpsuit I've narrowed it down to three.

I've ordered the mint velvet one (the halter neck) through next so if that one doesn't work I'll try the other two.
