I’m hoping I’ve been here long enough to be allowed to start the new thread. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s outfits as we move into my favourite fashion season.

@Justonedayatatime11 these are 10 years old and still going strong.

Probably my best ever purchase in terms of cost per wear. They are so comfy and warm. They have done miles of dog walks in all weathers - they have grip so great for when it's muddy and slippy.

I ride in them (though shouldn't really because of the tread)

They are extremely robust and I never worry about them getting wet/muddy/trashed brining in horses from knee deep mud.

I love them more than all my other clothes put together. Maybe that's a bit strong but I wear them a lot.

I'm off to look at a university with dd. Very exciting. I'm wearing @OublietteBravo's culottes from M&S but at full length. I bought them because they were recommended on mumsnet. Cardigan Gap, top H&M.

The outfit looks great @Greyhairwarmheart Could you and @OublietteBravo say something about the fabric? Are they a warm Winter weight?

Discovered this thread a few months ago, I have been so inspired by you all! It's great to see the support you offer each other and I have been encouraged to finally break out of my " jeans with a breton top" staple.

Everyone looking lovely today. I've been in bed all afternoon with a migraine from hell. Just can't shift it so feeling very sorry for myself. In a slightly brighter moment I have ordered two things. A lovely dress which I hope will look good with my chunky black boots and a jumpsuit which I plan on wearing for a few parties I have coming up between now and Christmas.

Thanks @Pigtailsandall I think it's mostly laziness dresses are so much easier you put it on and your done ✅ joking aside I've always preferred dresses I grow up when the 90s low rise trousers were big and my shape most definitely does not suit hipsters.

Thanks everyone!! I’ve really missed this thread. Was much easier to remember to take pics when I was WFH. Back in the office now but they’ve kept the dress code casual.

I still wear my dungarees at home & I have a fringe now!!! I lost a lot of weight (throat issues caused by the trauma of my DH going into hospital with Covid late last year). I had to sell a lot of my beloved dungarees as they were just too big. Only have a handful now.

I’ve tried a chunky knit with my animal print pleated skirt today! My jumper is just a bit too big and I’d have liked it a bit more fitted!

The fabric of the M&S trousers is a heavy velour (they look like corduroy). They are heavy but not heavy enough for a Scottish winter without thermals underneath. Trousers monsoon, jumper French connection.

Thanks @Greyhairwarmheart sounds like my sort of thing and they might be warm enough for the North East. Great outfit today 👍
