Thanks everyone for confirming that I go with the jumpsuit I find work events really difficult to dress for! @pompomsgalore thanks the jumpsuit is Ted Baker but DSis bought it for my birthday a few years ago from Bicester village outlet so it's not new.
@zigzaggaway that's a great dress.
@Justonedayatatime11 give yourself a good talking to, I've been there though I look at old pictures and think WTF I looked great. The jumper is just chunky.
@JunieSpoony I've been there too, Towards the end of my last pregnancy 5 years ago my HB kept dipping down and they kept threatening that I'd have to have a monitored labour, so I started have a bowl of cereal a day so effectively 4 meals it sorted out my HB (good job as I'd have never made it to hospital) but I put on more weight than I did previously and really struggled to reduce it.
About 3 years ago a parent congratulated me and said are you looking forward to a fourth child, I did have to point out I was just that was fat not pregnant, she was mortified though.
The thing is if you are currently over weight then you are, making yourself feel rubbish or punishing yourself won't change it. I would suggest wearing clothes that make you feel good and that bring you joy and gradually improving your diet and fitness. As for people commenting if it's to be an arse and make themselves feel good then I'd be inclined to tell them to fuck off, if like my example it's a mistake born from good intentions then let it go over your head.
