I’m hoping I’ve been here long enough to be allowed to start the new thread. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s outfits as we move into my favourite fashion season.

Wearing in Barbados where big prints work - dress, Boden (too deep a neckline as is too often the case with them). No make-up and hair responding to the climate (and not in a good way).

Thanks @OublietteBravo I am alive just about considering I should have immunity it really knocked me for six and DH aka sicknote has been fine not even a sniffle! I still don't feel quite right now that's 12/13 days.

It’s still so warm! Thank goodness the dreadful weather has eased. Took DH a lot of trips to rescue garden furniture before he finally gave up and shoved it in the garage!

I am going through all my winter jeans. Amazing difference in hush boyfriend jeans! And the Agnes appear to be identical cut to Alma
I expect I won’t wear the jumper for very long but I’m starting off as in pic 1 and hoping to be in pic 2 most of day. I have to make pumpkin soup ( the best you ever tasted)

Can someone give me an opinion on which laces are best in my new Vejas please? They came with -ridiculous- bright white ones which jarred awfully. I've nipped out about grey and grey/black options to try instead. What one do you think works best?? Grey? Or grey/black?

Should also say - it's a really dark solid grey option- might look more like black in those photos. Also a slightly type of lace - the grey is a traditional trainer lace, whereas the grey/black "spotty" one is more like a boot lace

Another pair of boots arrived ( Boden had 20% off) and I really really like them. Not a desperately practical colour ie won't go with everything but I do like them. They are lace up but with a side zip. I didn't want another black pair

I’m still in loungewear today but I did find a real leather belt in a charity shop that’s perfect for my Lucy & Yak trousers so I’m pleased with that for £2.50

I need proper winter boots. These are waterproof but not insulated, but slush and snow melting into the boots (if leather) are a bigger issue for me than cold feet. Are these frumpy? I can imagine my great aunt wearing them.

I also said that I preferred the lighter laces, @20FlowerPower.

Today, this is a gorgeous Cotten floaty midi dress from H&M. Interesting I’m loving my H&M stuff more than the more expensive stuff I’ve brought with me. I’ve found all the lovely Boden pieces have ridiculous low necklines (I forgot that after buying them and putting them away for this holiday. Why do they keep doing this, since reviewers have been telling them how pissed off they are about it for years!

Anyway, here I am in the H&M dress with no bra (big boobs) and not a spot of make-up. It’s so bloody hot!

@JunieSpoony that’s nice of you to say. I don’t think I do. I am much more confident in my style than when I was young though.
