I’m hoping I’ve been here long enough to be allowed to start the new thread. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s outfits as we move into my favourite fashion season.

Well I kept my jumper on all day yesterday! We had 2 power cuts lasting around 1 and a half hours at lunchtime and teatime which made life really tricky!
Jumper: seasalt 2017
Jeans: hush Alma 2020 ( my most worn jeans according to style book)
Loafers: Penelope Chilvers
Tee under: H&M

I've gone with the darker laces for now.

Fake leather joggers : Sainsbury's
Long sleeve tee : Boden
Jumper : White Stuff
Trainers : Veja

Didn’t fancy jeans today! Old dress that was less than £10 from DP’s. No doubt I’ll add a junker or cardi at some point as WFH.

Those trainers are lovely @20FlowerPower. Dress M&S, top H&M. I tried and failed to show the stitch detailing on the dress. It's a bit boring but very comfortable.

I've received my blue Agnes jeans and am sending them back ( surprised myself). They are identical in cut to my Alma which I'm wearing today and also virtually the same as my MIH Phoebe boyfriend jeans. So, although I love them, I do not need them. I've also ordered the black version of the brown boots I posted yesterday as I suddenly thought maybe black ones would do instead of both the chunky Chelsea boots and the lace up ones.

I'm doing an M&S order and am probably going to get @OublietteBravo's lovely green culottes.

Also, if you were wearing the outfit in the photo, what would you add in terms of jumper/cardigan if you lived in the frozen wastelands?

What sort of temperature @AnnieSnap? We went to Barbados at Christmas and it was just right.

It’s cold today. I put a jumper on this morning expecting to be able to take it off later. I’m still wearing it.

@AnnieSnap, I think you've hit the nail on the head when you say confidence. I think that's what makes you look so put together!

@Sickoffamilydrama why don't you try the dress with a thin red belt and some chunky boots and see how you feel about it then?

Thanks for the new thread *@OublietteBravo*, and for tagging me even though I've been so crap at posting lately. Vowing to do better for this thread as Autumn/Winter are my favourite seasons (both sartorially and in general!) so I should have more inspiration!

Ah, thanks @hugocat, that's really kind. I can't take any credit for it. I wash it, let it dry naturally, get it highlighted, that's about it. I'd estimate that I spent about half of my teenage years back combing it to try to make it look like it had more volume. Now I mostly just ignore it. 😂

Thanks so much for the lovely comments on my outfit for the wedding. I was getting a hit stressed about finding something to wear that felt special enough but was going to withstand the onslaughts of toddler DS. Now I'm sorted I'm really looking forward to it.

I'd like to say my outfit today was carefully fully curated, but I've actually really let the washing pile grow this week so inspiration was extremely limited and these were the first things that came to hand! I think I'm the another clear out of clothes soon as there's quite a lot I never seen to fancy wearing.
