I’m hoping I’ve been here long enough to be allowed to start the new thread. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s outfits as we move into my favourite fashion season.

@Shannith you are worse than me for charity shops I’ve reduced my charity shopping massively though mainly due to the prices going up a lot in my local area so I’m much more picky which is a good thing.
Also surprised you are 5”6 I thought you were much taller - probably because of your endless legs!

So I’m keeping the long Me&Em skirt for now - definitely want to try it with some more outfits. The chunky jumper tucked in that I wore today seems to be quite “in” but I’m conscious of my mum tum - you can’t really see in the pictures but I have a belly like I’m a few months pregnant - and I felt like today’s outfit emphasised that a bit in real life (doesn’t show in the pictures I admit).

I’m also thinking if I can master the long skirt it might be useful for when (if) I go back to the office as jeans have now been banned.

New slim fit jeans-really soft with some stretch AND will go in wellies but are not skinnies.
Cardy ,heat Gen top and slippers.I love M&S for basics and knits.
Will wear my new solovairs when they arrive.Bought some hi shine dealer boots after dithering about the price

I love everything about your outfit from yesterday @KiteflyingKat. I hear you on the jumper thing. I always think knitwear makes me look overly bulky - I suspect the issue is my perception as much as anything else.

@CoraggioCara - I’ve never found an adequate solution to what to wear over that type of shirt. So I resort to thermal layers underneath instead.

You’re a bad influence @Shannith - I’ve found myself browsing for sequinned clothing this morning!

I’m really impressed with M&S at the moment @Chrispackhamspoodle. They seem to have sorted out their delivery times for online shopping during the pandemic. And I’ve bought some things I really like there in the past few months. Including today’s dress (which I’m delighted I kept despite some initial misgivings)

Hope you're OK @Sickoffamilydrama, and I'm so sorry to read that your DD has been so poorly recently @Sooverthemill - you both look great and I'm very impressed. If I'm ever ill or having to care for a family member I always look terrible.

I've had such a lovely day today, I went to a friend's art exhibition, bought the most beautiful painting, which I'm very excited about, saw my best friend and her Mum (who is basically my second Mum), went for a delicious lunch and had the best afternoon rummaging around in the fancy second hand clothes shop in my parents' little town. I think my bestie and I tried on almost the whole shop and it was just like when we were teenagers again, we had such fun! She lives quite far away now so times when I get to see her are very precious and I feel absolutely rejuvenated for having such a lovely day. I've also come home with some great bargains!

Earrings - from my other best friend's online store, I love them.

Excuse the messy room, I went away with work this week and I've been too disorganised to unpack so far... 🤦‍♀️

My bargains from today!

The pink teddy coat is so, so cosy, the grey dress is actually a leather look one, which I think makes it a bit more interesting and will be nice for work with a shirt under it but not too much of a departure from my usual style and doesn't feel too "work wear-y", the cream dress is a Zara one and the print is actually Bambi, but I don't think it looks too twee with the colours. It's a bit big, but I'm pleased with it.

Wow @toastfiend great buys! I love the coat and the bambi dress is gorgeous...you also give me major hair envy every time you post - I can't seem to get mine to grow past my collarbone 🙄😂

No it was last year, but they’re in again. I ordered a black and white one as I didn’t take the red one off last year, but I’ve returned one today as they’re huge. Good value too 🥳
