I agree with everyone @AnnieSnap gorgeous sweatshirt and dress. And I've wanted a baukjen leather jacket for ages. How do they size? I often have to size down with their tops but up in bottoms. Also, well done for being super brave. Oh and I am 63 so we are almost twins
Thank you everyone for my outfit love. What does DH know indeed? I had a ridiculously lovely time seeing DS and him showing off the deli, I'm so proud of him he has turned his life around from 2017 when I was really worried about him and now he's a junior version of Jamie Oliver planning his next shop and expanding his bakery business. He is half owner of a deli business and also a bakery and they are setting up franchises for the deli. He's about to start supplying our local brewery with all their bread and pastries too. You won't remember but he was failing miserably at university and dropped out when DD was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 ( I think it gave him a wake up call) and he came home to look after the house and animals when we were living at Addenbrookes to care for DD as her underlying chronic health conditions meant she had to be an inpatient for 19 out of every 21 days chemo cycle. He then found a trainee baker job at our local artisan bakery and that was it, he found his vocation. Ironically, DD has been so unwell recently that we are back in the rounds of blood tests and massive worry as her results indicate that maybe her lymphoma is back. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, I had such fun taking boots to be resoled, buying far too much in the organic grocers, getting treats for my boys in the pet shop and generally chatting to DS who is so happy and chilled it's a joy. And all that fresh air and turning leaves was also lovely. Felt human!
