We need banquets, some diplomatic visits and more weddings. Oh and more of gorgeous Charles (you know the one I mean!)

I'm not so bothered about rings but if we're doing brooches I'm rather fond of the Silver Fern one please.

And I'll lend it out if anyone else is heading on an overseas tour and needs it.

I'll forgo rings, bracelets & necklaces if you could kindly let me have first swoop on all the dangly earrings - the more outrageous the better @Maireas
I'm channeling my inner Max in fact I like all of Max's earrings.
I also love the Margaret's Persian Turquoise Parure but I would be very happy with just the earrings

Speaking of Eugenie, she's been at an art exhibition. Though the top half of the outfit is okayish, something has gone disastrously wrong with the proportions on the lower half. The heavy boots look really jarring, especially with bare legs instead of tights.

Yes! Wills just needs to get some face masks made up out of one of his notorious fleeces and they'll be style twins!

I think Eugenie looks cute and a bit 1960s in that dress and boots.

Mathilde has always dressed older than what she is but I guess her age has now caught up to her style! The newsreader hair is also a bit ageing.

Oh at first I thought Eugenie was the one in the fuschia pink velvet jacket and I was about to say she looks fabulous. Then I spotted Eugenie...she's attractive and has a lovely figure but hit and miss dress sense!

Loved that article on the engagement rings @paradyning, particularly the title of one section, on the larger engagement rings. It was called " Diamonds. Holy Crap Category"

You can keep your tiaras I'll have the Queen's solitaire please.

I want a velvet jacket.

I just counted-I have 5! Inexplicably 4 of them are black (hoarder alert) and 1 is navy.
They are actually lovely to wear and jazz up a dress nicely.

I have two vintage velvet capes. One the sleeves are trimmed with rabbit fur the other has a big brass button toggle style. Nowhere to wear them these days.

My favourite royal ring is Diana's aquamarine. Now worn by Meghan

Those velvet capes sound amazing just, and eau's velvet jacket collection too.

I have one rather elderly LK Bennett black velvet jacket, with a beautiful ivory satin lining. As just says, nowhere to wear it to nowadays. It's really a pity.

Ooh yes, that's a gorgeous ring. I absolutely loved Meghan's evening wedding dress and the way the soles of the shoes were aquamarine to match Diana's ring.

It’s sort of Chanel meets Twiggy. Not in a good way. She looks happy and engaged though. The Anti Slavery collective is a very worthy cause.

Does anyone else think that in the middle photo of Margaret, above, she reminds you of Anne?

There is certainly a similarity between Margaret and Anne.

Im sure all the intermarriage in the past has led to resemblances which ordinary families don't have. Diana, Fergie, Sophie, Kate and Meghan must bring welcome new genes.
Im on first name terms with them. Mark Phillips too, he was lovely in his wedding photos.
