Charlene’s parents must still be in South Africa, so she won’t be entirely alone there, and she’ll have staff of course too. Her medical problems seem to have been triggered by a sinus lift and bone contouring procedure in the Spring. She certainly looks very ill poor soul, and she must be missing her children.

Why would she have needed an operation like this?

HMQ was meant to be going to Northern Ireland but has cancelled as she has been advised to rest. Hope she's OK

CPV has been in Turin today. I have to admit that I love her outfit. I'm a sucker for grey and I love the soft layered look she's got here, glammed up with the chunky silver necklace.

HM hosted a reception at Windsor Castle last night, and here she is meeting Bill Gates! It's no wonder she's called off going to NI today; it would seem a very hectic schedule for someone in their 90s.

I LOVE CPV's outfit there. It looks cosy and chic.

That blue is nice on HM.

@justasking111 a sinus lift is done when you need dental implants but you don't have enough bone support to place the implants

Cosmetic surgery was the first thought in my mind.

Possibly MrsF if Charlene has lost bone mass in her upper jaw making her face look a bit dropped or sunk or even shrunk.
A sinus lift is able to change to the way your facial structure looks so remedies the aforementioned.

I can't remember if it was on this thread or on another thread on a diffferent board that a someone explained all the ins & outs of sinus lift surgery as they or a relative is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

The Irish President turned down an invite to that service in NI.
It was a little contentious.
Probably better the Queen isn't there.
Sometimes there is more going on behind the scenes. I'm not saying that is the case now but it might be.
The service is marking the centenary of the partition of Ireland.

W & C do seem like a really strong team. They seem to actually enjoy their causes and tackling them together.

I do think we should ask C to a MN meet up where we all wear our tiaras and crown and have a lovely gin and tonic together.

I do like CPV's outfit, but after yesterday she looks like C's photo negative.
