We need banquets, some diplomatic visits and more weddings. Oh and more of gorgeous Charles (you know the one I mean!)

In royal-ish news, Tessy (formerly of Luxembourg) has had her baby. Another boy.

And more reception photos of faux Euro royals at the Russian "royal" wedding. One of them appears to have worn her duvet!

That's nice news for Tessy. She's had a tough time.
My goodness. That green outfit is quite something. Quite a lot of tiara action, though.

That green dress at the Russian wedding is rather alarming. It puts me in mind of some of Fergie's duvet-type numbers.

I've just seen Charlene's latest photo, apparently the first since her most recent hospital stay. She really looks unwell; very thin and drained. The poor woman. She seems to have a Bible open in front of her, and if I'm not mistaken is wearing a rosary? I like her hair slightly longer as it is here.

HMQ, Chas and Cams have been opening the Scottish parliament. I like that green on HMQ, and of course the brooch. The flash of red trim down the front of Cams' coat works well I think.

Charlene does look incredibly thin and drained-she had an athletic swimmer's frame with broad shoulders but not any more. She suits black and I like her hair like that.
HMQ looks good in green and Cams looks great. I love the jaunty hat and flash of red.

I liked the sea green shade of the Queen’s outfit when she opened the Scottish Parliament.

Her huge diamond thistle brooch was a gift to Queen Mary from the contractors of Kelvin Hall when it was opened in 1927. Queen Mary used to wear it in her hat.
It’s believed that the brooch was included in jewellery Her Maj inherited from Queen Mary in 1953, but it’s only in recent years that it has been worn.

Poor Charlene does look awfully thin in that photo

Poor Charlene doesn’t look well at all. Hopefully she will be able to make a full recovery and be reunited with her children. Odd picture though.

Thanks Ada, I was hoping you'd share your brooch knowledge. It's a shame it's only recently come out of hibernation; it's a beauty.

It is a beautiful piece MotherofPearl and very much of its Art Deco period. With its simple streamlined and symmetrical shape, it’s more of a geometric representation of thistle. The little flared triangle at the base of the stem is a classic Art Deco feature. Altogether a most gorgeous item!

That's a beautiful piece. HM must have the finest brooch collection. She seemed very small and stooped, so I was glad to hear her speak - she was her usual clear, bright self.

Leti at a high school, in white Uterque top and black Hugo Boss slim fit trousers. The top is a bit fussy for me, but paired with the trousers and low heeled suede slingbacks, it looks good.

I agree that the top is a bit fussy, but the rest of her outfit is so plain I think it works overall.

Yes, I really like the slim fit trousers. The shoes are a bit of a departure, but really nice.

Leti looks like she can’t actually get her arm to her side in that photo, due to the volume of the sleeve!

CPM has been on a solo trip to Lithuania recently, and was looking her usual perfectly polished self. I love the colour of her blue dress, but thought her purple shoes a bit odd - isn’t it a lucky coincidence she was given a bouquet to tie them together nicely! (I don’t think it’s a coincidence ).

CPM looks lovely in the blue, it's a great colour on her. I know what you mean about the shoes, though. The white and red looks are good too. Preferable to her recent foray into baggy trousers, imo.

Here's someone I doubt we've featured before - Laurentien of the Netherlands aka Maxima's sister-in-law. Doesn't her dress look like it could've been borrowed from Max?

And here's something we don't see everyday - Queen Margrethe with a drag version of herself! She's about 6 foot tall herself so the guy must be a giant.

Laurentian has an even more idiosyncratic taste than her sister-in-law generally. Having said that, I really like her dress!

I love Queen Margarethe meeting the actor portraying her!
