Help! Which Chelsea boots shall I send back?

I already have black dr martens so I guess I bought these Chelsea boots to wear for work in very cold winter days and also for evenings and shopping trips when you want to look casual but with a hint of smart.

I love both - but feel silly keeping both as they're very similar. The one with brown stripe I feel adds a more casual vibe - but I like the tall length of the dune ones I think maybe they're more on trend?

Which do you prefer?

Number 1 (dune)

Or number 2 (from schuh)

I'd keep number 2

The Dune ones look like Herman Munsters boots.

Thanks! Also I should add I have quite long legs so feel the longer cut is more complimentary with skirts - number 2 cut right on the ankle a bit annoying!

Depends what you're after really. #1 is much more on trend and what I'd go for. #2 are more neutral but a bit blah.

@BuffySummersReportingforSanity yes I feel number 2 are more conventional and lacking a bit of character! The dune ones are more expensive but something is drawing to them because of them being trendier 🙈

Number 1 look like imitation of Dr Martens Chelsea boots which put me off as I’d just get the DMs

The first pair are neither long nor short so I’m not keen. The second pair are ok but I don’t like the brown stripe!

@MrsCremuel I already have dr martens but lace ups as the Chelsea boots never fit me correctly DMs they're either tooo big too small and insoles never work! So I'm a bit stuck

Also DMs feel a bit too casual I want something shiny leather

@postingfortraffichere yes mine are a bit big round the toe for me and I have wide feet! Maybe 1 would work then as I quite like the edgy aspect but they are ‘neater’. Then keep two as well for a classic look

@MrsCremuel I can't keep both as I have other Chelsea boots too I just can't justify 😂
