Wow that CB GWP sold out quickly! It was really nice things so maybe that's why, can always use a new serum. Just as well tho as I have now bought the H&B AC as well (it's for DD but I imagine I will scrounge some things).

Do we know the date for CB AC at all? #askingforafriend

supadupapupascupa · 14/09/2021 22:33

I actually managed to get one. Annoyed me though because I never got an email to tell me about it so if I hadn't have heard on here I would not have known. I got an email from them for other stuff this morning so definitely subscribed.

MidnightMeltdown · 14/09/2021 23:46

There are some nice products, but the sizes are absolutely minute. I struggle to see how it can be 'worth £300' as they claim. Ludicrous.

Samples of this size should be standard with all purchases, as they often are when you order direct from brands.

This is what puts me off cult beauty. I ordered the calendar in 2019 and everything was tiny. I used the £25 voucher they sent with the calendar, but aside from that, I haven't ordered from them since.

Caved and bought the ASOS in case I don't get anything else!
Holding out for Selfridges this year
Usually get FU and LF so feels weird not ordering yet but will abstain unless a good deal appears

LizzieMacQueen · 15/09/2021 08:32

For those looking for a more budget range AC. There's this from Sephora.

I got my cult beauty order and GWP. I am very happy with it.

I have been out of the skin care game for a while. The GWP gives me a good chance to try things. Lots of serums, for me to make my way through

JustWhatIAlwaysWanted · 15/09/2021 09:56

Next is on sale now so I'm about to get that. That will secure me one calendar at least!

Heartened to see M&S is 25 days, so I'm planning to get that too when it's available.

gratedbeetroot · 15/09/2021 10:38

ASOS calendar is down to £60 without a code today.

DrRamsesEmerson · 15/09/2021 12:15

Still looking for Degustabox - there isn't anything on their site yet. Has anyone seen any hints about when it might be available?

wheresmyshoe · 15/09/2021 12:46

@DrRamsesEmerson I ordered mine in late October last year, it was delivered in November.

Hi everyone, new to this thread..although I’ve been lurking.
I wanted to find out what was going on with this years beauty advent calendars and I’m usually excited about which one to choose, although I’ve always ended up with Liberty and the odd Decleor.
I’m really disappointed this year..feeling no excitement for any, Liberty being the biggest disappointment.
I may go for the Rituals 3D as it looks very festive and I’ve never tried any of their products.
If I see anymore AB rich cream in a calendar..all a bit “deja-vu” why can’t it be creme de la mer instead.
Hope everyone gets the calendar they really want though. 🌸

latedecember1963 · 15/09/2021 13:07

The Sephora calendar looks good for a teenager. There was a poster a couple of weeks ago who was looking for a calender for her daughter with a budget of about £30.

turboface · 15/09/2021 13:16

My H&B calendar arrived today and this is how the box looked like. The calendar itself was ok.

I was so bloody disappointed at the lack of M&S calendar last year.

I got Next instead but it was shit.

If there's no M&S this year I may well go barmy and stay up all night trying to get a Liberty one. Grin

Bloody hell!! I knew that would happen after I paid full price! Still, it’s here now and it’s still good value at £75 for what you get.

The lipstick in the ASOS AC looks like a good colour

You won't need to stay up all night to get the Liberty one. They've never sold out in the first few days yet.
gratedbeetroot · 15/09/2021 14:00

It is still good value at £75 and at least you have it safe in your hands!

I’m not sure if the lipstick will be too dark for me but I’ll give it a try!

jagoda · 15/09/2021 14:00

Thanks Housewife. Grin It looks like I will be able to save my £££ and get a M&S one this year though - phew!

Housewife2010 · 15/09/2021 14:15

@Jagoda
I just wish that M&S would hurry up and tell us the contents. I'm checking daily!

jagoda · 15/09/2021 15:00

I usually look at the contents, and then immediately try to forget them so it's still a bit of a surprise Grin

notangelinajolie · 15/09/2021 15:19

John Lewis. Sorry I can't do pictures Blush

ashmts · 15/09/2021 15:32

Ooh thanks @notangelinajolie. It looks pretty decent actually, lots of good sizes (although I do dispute REN tonic being full size at 100ml when it comes as a 250ml). Flippin' AB rich cream and This Works pillow spray though. I've tried quite a few of the things so will give it a miss personally. I love the Living Proof dry shampoo, I got that in Space NK last year and it's really good.

ajandjjmum · 15/09/2021 15:36

So...I had my eye on the JL one for a friend's 'big' birthday, and to me it looks pretty good. Not completely focussed on skincare, but some make-up and fragrances thrown in.

But I know the experts on here will have a view - so please tell me, is it a good deal, and would it be a nice pressie for someone?

Thank you!
