Still no Net-A-Porter. I've gone off buying this. Annoyed by their tardiness, messing us about with dates, and sudden unexpected price increase. What a shambles.

The Body Shop is usually very popular but I think they've overstretched themselves thinking that anyone would pay £320 for one ! Especially when it's all BS.

I went on to the BS site to take a look only to see that awful Jameela Jamil person on the page....quickly exited out. Not that I would ever purchase it anyway.

Sigh....just none of them are doing it for me this year. I'm thinking maybe The White Company and that's only because I haven't tried any of their stuff.

Although there was a nice €40 In Sephora today, but I resisted as it was all Sephora own brand. Going into ibiza town on Friday though, so I may yet succumb

Hi all... just passing through, have been here other years. Very disappointed how few multi-brand calendars are available to those of us in the EU. I usually go for Liberty but have joined the 'sitting on my hands' brigade as I agree too many repeats, and no Diptyque candle - a sad loss! Looked at LF which has a few nice things - had it before but put off by terrible delivery experience (they didn't send for ages) and wondering if I might use as much from it as a more expensive one. Or might go for one of the CB edits and buy something nice on the side...

It might well be an issue with stocking some of the items. I noticed that when they first advertised, they only showed 23 items - maybe they're having issues with the other two being delayed.

However, the fact that they got the price wrong in their press releases suggests to me that this is down to someone incompetent managing the whole thing. I did think it was odd that the price was less than last year. It's a pretty poor show to increase the price after you've already released the details at a lower price.

Yes that’s really poor increasing the price.
I think I’m going to stick with fortnums and not even get m and s. Probably have a little advent calendar fatigue.

Yes I agree - very poor, makes me wonder if it would turn up late or not as expected - may have to cross my fingers that John Lewis comes back into stock!

John Lewis will be back in stock in mid October.

I wanted NAP this year but they’ve driven me crazy with the delay, so it’s a no from me now. I always get Liberty from DH although this year it is just the same than past years and I asked him to get Space NK. Would live to “return” to Liberty next year, hope they read us. And NAP!
I have also ordered John Lewis. Had “missed” it because I was too focused on NAP but thanks to mumsnet I had a good look at JL and said bye bye to NAP.

DH ordered HoF for me last week but got an email this morning saying that unfortunately, it’s unavailable for delivery. It’s frustrating that they had it advertised as available

I'm surprised that it's still in stock after the 15% offer tbh. That was a really good deal. They must have a lot of calendars.

I think a lot of calendars tend to sell out after the cult beauty release as disappointed people look for something else.
