@:Icecreamsprinkles No. I'm looking at it and it's only £5 more for me than JL (I have a £5 Space NK voucher), but the JL is calling my name louder. CB is my first choice and I know I'll get M&S.

There's a 15% off Space NK code that can be used against the calendar. MEAN15 which takes it down to £169. I don't know when it expires.

Doesn't work on the EU site

I'm really irritated with so many of the sites doing that this year. Previous years, they applied to both UK and EU sites.

I'm starting to lean towards the HoF one. I had planned on the CB but to be honest, that was more because it's the best (for me) of the high end ones. I'm not massively excited by anything in it, although overall I would use, and be happy with, most of it. But I'm much the same with HoF, except it's €100 cheaper.

@Jooox yes they did it was around about this time last year. but I had already got the Look fantastic advent and H&B so couldn’t justify buying another so missed out. But really want SpaceNK this year

Can't decide. I'd really like to see what's in Fenwick's first so I think I'm going to gamble and hope JL doesn't sell out tomorrow. Surely it won't? You never know though. I already have F&M so if I miss out it's not the end of the world, but I'd still like to get JL if I can.

I don't think that any of the calendars have sold out yet, and those that did have been restocked, so I'll be surprised if JL sells out in a day. There are so many beauty deals and offers on these days, I expect that most people are already swamped with products. I know that I am 😂

I've been lurking for ages, having bought SpaceNK early doors as that tipped me into Deluxe membership (yes, I'm a complete sucker for the "just spend another £xxx" marketing).

But I'm now (a) annoyed that I paid full price and (b) wishing I'd gone for Harrods instead. And blaming you all for both these facts. I really can't justify two premium calendars, but I wish I'd waited....!

The only ones that have sold out so far are Holland & Barrett and ASOS. In the past John Lewis and Space NK have been around for a while. I think John Lewis is better than usual this year so I don't think it will be around at half price at Black Friday this year.

I've just bought the John Lewis one. I agree with PP that it's better than previous years. It has a full size Dermalogica Bio-lumin serum which I really rate, and by itself iirc is worth over £80.

I’m wondering about cancelling fortnums (if I can) and getting Harros instead. I can’t justify 2 - having done an inventory ..

I also think the JL is great - tempted by that too !

JL is my back up if I cant get CB so hoping CB goes on sale sooner rather than later!

I was all set on John Lewis but now it's launched today I'm dithering - tempted by Net a Porter .... so much more expensive but some lovely skincare products ...so hard this year!

I've got the H&B. I've never had an advent calendar before other than chocolate so this is a real treat. I haven't looked at the contents list as I want it to be a surprise and will share contents with DD and DH (who loves a face mask). I might even be able to use some of the items for little gifts. Plus the way the calendar is designed, with individual little boxes, and no branding on the top or sides, means I could keep it for future use if I wanted to make one up for a grandchild or something in the future (being thrifty and all that). It seems like good value- I'm hoping anyway , and no plastic packing on the outside at least.

@imp2007 - any idea when NAP might go on sale today? I've looked this morning but nada.

Oh and I'd like to get Whittard's coffee one for DH but don't think it's been launched yet and might be too pricey. The hot choc one came out and was way more spendy than I expected!

The EL, AA bath oil and Dermalogica in JL made it an easy decision for me.
