I'm so on the fence with M&S!! I agree it's really good value but I actively dislike a few of the products (eyeko) and never use hand creams and there are three! I also already have the Aveda ... but .. I do like the shower cream and DP uses the Ren moisturiser.. plus I'd like to try the sleep cream ... hmmmm
Ps I also like the tin

The M&S looks very similar to previous ones but I still think it's good value.

I'm not massively excited by it but I'm bit by any of them and I'd enjoy opening one and wold use a good amount of it.

Can I ask-has everyone who bought the H&B advent calendar on the morning the email came out, received it yet?
Not had mine. Not in any rush for it but want to keep an eye out.

My H and B came, ordered same day as email. Nearly chucked box 7 away as it was loose. Currently feeling really bad as have ordered the white company as a little(!) treat for myself. Trying to justify as first month in a new role so a small pay rise 😳

Where can you see what's in M&S calendar?

I use the Murad overnight retinol that's in the Next box - it is really nice. I got it in a liberty ac one year I think. I have got to the age where I feel my skin needs nourishing overnight and this doesn't irritate. I'm a bit of a Murad fan.

£1.60 per item is only a good deal if you’ll use them. It adds up if there are a load that you won’t. Plus I don’t need anything from M&S so for me it’s spending £70 that I wouldn’t normally have.

Three hand creams? That’s poor. I can’t bear hand creams so that’s a bit chunk gone, and I see Eyeko is back too.

I’ll have to think hard about it - I was going to have one so I had something to open but not sure now. Maybe I just need to find friends who like hand cream.

I am not sure about M&S. I like it and would use the products but £30 spend on something feels too much.

I'm fine with the £30 spend on m and s. I'm going to need new pants soon, I'm pregnant so could get some nice newborn outfits or socks and pants for DH's stocking!

But saying that, looking at the items I'm just not sure about it.
I think there's a fair few things I won't use. Fucking hand cream...
The occitane oil as well, they are on every bloody calendar...

Hand creams don't excite me, but I'd use them eventually. What bothers me more is the fact that there are two eyeliners, which I definitely won't use. Plus I think that I still have the last red sparkly nail polish that M&S sent out.

I noticed that ASOS have restocked if anyone who wanted that missed out

Apart from reading each other's views when we do get our advent calendars the swaps are great.
I think it was M&S 2017 advent calendar I had a few things I wasn't keen on like the Ameliorate body lotion etc & managed to swap some for a some mini bottles of Alpha Rose Gold. Win win

Thanks Olive, I might chase. My DS has not had an Asos parcel that was supposed to be delivered 2 months ago so way too late to complain. Just worrying that this might be the second parcel to go astray...

I’ve had M&S every year except last and there is a lot of deja vu in there and a few things I’d definitely not use.

I feel with all of them there isn’t one that really excites me!
