How old do you think I look?

I live abroad and have aged a bit over the last two/three years. Always looked really young for my age when I lived in the U.K., but have started to notice how I'm ageing a lot more around my eyes and 11 lines. DP thinks I have dysmorphia and it's all in my mind. I feel like I'm ready for a bit of Botox, as I've been feeling a lot less confident about my appearance. To settle the argument, please tell me how old you think I am. Both pics are without filter and one with just mascara, a bit of concealer to hide the dark shadows and eyebrow pencil. The bathroom one is before I had a shower, with just eyebrow pencil.

Similar age to me and I’m 35. I think your skin looks nice

@Goodmum1234

Oh snd you do not need anything yet. Wait until you really do then decide. I have Botox for 11s but mine were really deep thanks to teaching and having a cross face sometimes 😂
I'm a teacher too. Lots of frowning as well 😁

You've had botox for sure, so I guess you are really asking what age do I look with my Botox. Even though your skin is smooth, you can tell you are in your forties.

If you still insist you haven't had it, then don't get it because you will look double-dosed with the stuff, it won't work for you.

Toseland · 01/09/2021 21:26

36 - there is no need to worry, it’s just life. Just remember to smile - everyone looks better when they smile! x

ZaraCarmichaelsHighHeels The shine is from oily skin. That's something I've developed since moving to Spain.

I'm also 43, you definitely look slightly younger and you have great skin. Honestly stop worrying! This comes from someone who looks (I work in public role so am told almost daily 😳) young for their age , although botox in my forehead lines might be good!

RiversideAnne · 01/09/2021 21:27

I think you have a lovely face.

You look a little older than me and I’m in my 30s, so I would say 40s. I’m so bad at these though, so if I’m wildly off it’s on me, not you!

Nothing wrong with Botox if you want it. You have lovely skin either way!

I haven't had Botox. Why on earth would I lie about it?

I’m finding you hard to age ! Or to gauge.
I’d say 35.
I would not be astonished if you were 31 - I’d then think you looked a little older than your age and were perhaps tired.
I would be surprised if you were over 41. And astonished if 43 or older.

Franklyfrost · 01/09/2021 21:30

You look great. Go easy on the eyebrow pencil. Get Botox if you want. But go easy on that too.

Otherthanetta · 01/09/2021 21:31

Wow, I can’t believe some of the posts on this thread saying late 40s. No way do you look that old. I’d say late 30s early 40s? You look a bit like a young version of Natalie Portman OP. Definitely not old.

waitingpatientlyforspring · 01/09/2021 21:31

I was going to say same age as me, I'm 43 next week.

Franklyfrost · 01/09/2021 21:31

Oh, forgot the point- I'd say 41-44

The op has said that she will be 43 in 2 weeks

HeronLanyon · 01/09/2021 21:34

otherthan agree with your post but late 40s is not ‘old’. It’s not even ‘older’. Grin

I love the Tring BFF under eye concealer- would definitely recommend

CostaBlancaChica · 01/09/2021 21:35

@JinglingHellsBells

You are lovely for your age.

Have you thought about a light fringe?

You have a very high forehead and it would soften your face a little (and block the UV rays!) if you had a wispy fringe, but only IMO.

Frizzy hair and live in a humid climate, so a fringe isn't an option unfortunately.

Good to know. I'll give it a try! Are there loads of shades to choose from? I wouldn't be able to try any, so would have to guess my shade.

43?? Honestly. Your skin is luminous and line free and I should know I work in the beauty industry!!

Please believe you look fantastic, whatever your age!?! 😜
