How old do you think I look?

I live abroad and have aged a bit over the last two/three years. Always looked really young for my age when I lived in the U.K., but have started to notice how I'm ageing a lot more around my eyes and 11 lines. DP thinks I have dysmorphia and it's all in my mind. I feel like I'm ready for a bit of Botox, as I've been feeling a lot less confident about my appearance. To settle the argument, please tell me how old you think I am. Both pics are without filter and one with just mascara, a bit of concealer to hide the dark shadows and eyebrow pencil. The bathroom one is before I had a shower, with just eyebrow pencil.

Can’t see where the Botox would go.

I’d say about 47, similar to me. You don’t need Botox, embrace the lines!

I thought this too. People saying late 40s are being utterly ridiculous.

I’d say mid thirties too. I love these posts, but brace yourself for the hateful comments.
You look really well, have lovely skin and I don’t think you need Botox!
Use a good spf, sunglasses and a quality eye cream/gel if you are worried about ageing. Lots of water and veggies too!

I'd say 39-40. I never understand people who do this though - you must have the skin of a rhinoceros!

Utterly flawless skin. If I did Botox I would shoo you out the door. A load of random age guesses on the internet will not change the fact that you are beautiful. The end.

If you're counting your lines (11?) your husband may be right.

You look ‘fresher’ than me - so I’d say you’re about 40.

You definitely do not look as if you’re knocking on 50, so ignore those people.

40’s. regardless you look lovely and it can be so subjective depending on outfit makeup etc . You look healthy and well x

How you look is irrelevant, and I agree that if you’re so concerned about how old you look you may well have some degree of anxiety. (but I couldn’t possibly say if that’s dysmorphia, which is defined as follows: Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), or body dysmorphia, is a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others. People of any age can have BDD, but it's most common in teenagers and young adults. It affects both men and women

The best think you can do for your skin is ensure you wear a high factor sun cream every day of the year, stay out of the sun as far as possible, and wear a hat! Don’t go down the Botox route - it just looks so fake on everyone.
