With thanks to @MrsPear for starting the what item of clothing would you love to find but can't, what beauty item ditto? Makeup/skincare/hair/tools?

For me, an oil free, silicone free but long wearing foundation the colour of an extra milky latte coffee.

@mnahmnah

A mascara that doesn’t flake or smudge, but gives plenty of volume and length
Max Factor 1000 Calorie. Been wearing it for 30 years. I keep cheating on it and then going back with my tail between my legs.

A common thread here is things we like keep getting discontinued, though I do concede that when I am forced to find an alternative, I end up being happy with that too.

I used to spend approx £40 on a Chanel foundation but they discontinued it. Ended up using L'Oreal Infallible which is 1/4 the price and just as good for my 66-year-old blotchy, porous skin.

Another favourite - and I hope they never discontinue it - is Max Factor Infinity lipstick which I have been using for a couple of decades. It truly does last a whole day.

That’s the same moisturiser I use! I have the serum too but don’t mix it. I like the moisturiser and it’s certainly affordable but it does lack that luxury feel. It would be nice to have an alternative.

Hi @TTCAbroad. @Clydesider under a new name here. I just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with Make Up Forever's Watertone! It's so easy to apply, probably as it's runnier than most foundations, and it doesn't look false at all. It just makes my skin, which is fairly clear, look even better. I'm a convert. Quite expensive for me, at £32, but worth it. So pleased I took your advice. Smile

@Westerman I just saw this, excellent news! I was hoping you would come back with feedback 😄 Genuinely cannot overstate how happy I am that it’s worked for you.
