Re CPV's hair, maybe it's part of her "princess uniform" so that she isn't recognised when she's off-duty. I've seen photos of her with her hair down and she looks quite different.

CPV definitely has a "uniform" and very purposefully pulls her hair back so it's tidy and out of the way and doesn't distract her when she's on duty (read about this in articles a few times).

I don't know how true it is but I've read that CPV has face blindness, which must be quite the handicap in the job she has to do.
