Looking for @TracyBeakerSoYeah for the link!

Princess Alexia isn't taking much luggage!

Maireas · 30/08/2021 16:22

Leonor is starting there this week as well.
Imagine seeing Max and Leti at a parents' event!

Interesting - I'd bet most people wouldn't recognise them and would just see them as very stylish, attractive women.
I only learned about them from this thread!
I'd love to Euro Royal spot now though. Smile

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 30/08/2021 19:16

Baby Charles is so cuddly! His family always look so happy.

Wow Princess Alexia looks so much like her Grandmother Queen Beatrix

KillingMeDeftly · 30/08/2021 20:23

@TracyBeakerSoYeah I think she's the only one who looks like Maxima. Amalia is all Wax and I don't know who the youngest (Ariana?) looks like. But she's the smiliest by far so maybe she's inherited her mum's personality!

CliffsofMohair · 30/08/2021 21:03

Soon to be joined by Princess Leonor. Who I fervently hope packed a jacket. It’s Wales

I have to ask - what’s so special about this school that it attracts all the Euro royals?

Interesting to see the two princesses heading off to school in Wales. Yes I hope they're both prepared with warm coats and waterproofs!

I really love this skirt of CPV's. Great earrings too.

It was originally founded by Kurt Hahn, the chap who founded Gordonstoun, where Prince Philip & Prince Charles were educated, so it has exceptionally good connections. King Willem is also an old boy.

It aims to teach independence, personal resilience and social responsibility. I’m hoping that for Max’s daughter there is also a summer school in tiara wearing!

AdaColeman · 30/08/2021 21:39

Only joking about the tiara wearing, Max’s daughter will be a natural!
I hope the two princesses have brought their wellies! ⛈ ☔️ ⛈

Eaumyword · 30/08/2021 22:07

They all look so stylish. The girls look fabulous in their jeans and breton/t shirt combo.

FATEdestiny · 30/08/2021 22:29

Saw this image on my Facebook feed today (on Royal News). No idea if it's a recent photograph or not, but great picture I thought. Stunning dress.

I think that was a shoot Eugenie did for Vogue when she turned 18 or 21.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 30/08/2021 23:51

Gorgeous photo of Eugenie.
I always think she favours Princess Margaret in looks.
It's interesting how we all see different family members in the Royals.
@KillingMeDeftly yes I can see some of Max in Alexia too but then I think Max & Beatrix have a similar look.
They always say you unconsciously choose your spouse/partner based on familial resemblances.

KillingMeDeftly · 31/08/2021 08:04

Yes it is isn't I? I've always thought Eugenie looks like her father and it was especially apparent in the photos after she had her son. Beatrice looks like him too although she has Fergie's hair.

Haggisfish3 · 31/08/2021 08:15

Today is 25 years since Diana died so here's some of her top style moments.

Horsemad · 31/08/2021 15:59

No, it's 24 years since Diana died, my DS was a newborn.

Eaumyword · 31/08/2021 16:00

Thanks, Killing, really nice to see Diana's 'style evolution.'
Her best looks imho were post divorce, when she had a modern sleek hairdo and wore form fitting suits and dresses.

Maireas · 31/08/2021 16:12

Thank you, Deftly! That's a treat!
So many wonderful outfits, and memories.

Thank you for the beautiful Diana photos, Deftly. So many of those outfits graced the front cover of Hello down the years.
She died the day before my DS1 started primary school and I remember chatting with some of the other new YR mums about how unreal the news seemed.

Maireas · 31/08/2021 16:55

I love the early pictures, takes me back. Lovely clothes with bright, clear colours.
I remember the kindergarten picture with the see through skirt! I did feel vexed for her!

So interesting! Thanks for that

KillingMeDeftly · 31/08/2021 18:39

Oops sorry, rogue fingers. I meant to type 24!

latedecember1963 · 31/08/2021 21:52

I wonder if Sophie and Edward's daughter Louise considered the Welsh college.
Having read the article it sounds a really interesting approach to late teens education.

KillingMeDeftly · 31/08/2021 22:06

It looks far too free-thinking for the British royal family!
