Rings and earrings please?! Like tiaras, earrings ALWAYS fit! Max has the most amazing earrings. Doesn't she have a spectacular aquamarine set and amethyst too? The Euro royals defo got the best deal in jewels and seem to get less/no grief for flashing them around. Our royals have to be a bit more careful to avoid criticism for that terrible British crime of being a bit 'showy' as my grandma would have said!

It’s before the Queen Victoria exhibition. I don’t know if it’s permanent or there’s a rotation going on. It is stunning as are the other tiaras there.

Just back from London, and to report that my the Fife tiara is even more captivating in real life! It really sparkles and glitters. I also enjoyed seeing the Diana wedding dress very much, and some of the Norman Hartnell sketches of dresses he designed for members of the RF. I wished there were more dresses on display, but I'd still very much recommend it. The exhibition on Queen Victoria's childhood was fascinating. Sadly I didn't get the chance to take any photos as my friend and I were too busy admiring and chatting, and it was quite busy.

Really curious to know if Diana's dress has yellowed over time or was it cream to start with?

I wondered that too @Eaumyword. It was much yellower than I'd expected but then I wondered if that was just ageing? I was also surprised by how much it sparkled (the edging and lace parts). Really odd to see something you've seen in photos repeated so often through the decades, and remembering watching the ceremony on TV all those years ago (I was 7!).

That's a bit special to have seen it in real life, how fantastic!
I remember her being quite sparkly at the time but definitely cream coloured, not a clear white dress.
It sounds really interesting and I'm now plotting how I can get mum&I down to London to have a look!

I saw Diana's dress many years ago at Althorp, it was beautiful; one of my fave royal wedding dresses.

I did read that the Emanuels made the dress in a deep cream rather than bright white as they felt it was more classy and in keeping with the Cathedral.
@Horsemad - I'm guessing it's quite stunning in real life, it's got to be one of the most famous dresses in the world.

Diana's dress was everything it needed to be at the time, a real fairytale princess dress. It's a pity it creased, but it suited the cathedral setting perfectly and I loved the sparkle. That's what Kate's lacked, however beautiful the embroidery was. I'd love to go to KP but I haven't got anyone who wants to go with me.
