It is very elegant. I like anything with that art deco look. As you say, a nice link to Philip's family.

If there are no other takers I'd quite like Sandringham please. Love the north Norfolk coast and the gardens and the woodlands are beautiful.

I'll be sure to invite you all over for drinks when my new friend Kate pops in from down the road.

MotherofPearl · 05/08/2021 19:20

I hope you'll be hosting us all for Christmas in that case Romaining?

Leti and family looking lovely and summery. I think both her daughters are now taller than she is? Nice to see her in flat shoes for a change.

CPM has been spotted out with her daughter Josephine, and she's looking good in her summery outfit too.

We really are starved of proper royal fashion at the moment, aren't we?

Oh, nice summer holiday pictures, MotherofPearl. Leonor and Sophia are getting tall, but I'm glad to see that they're embracing espadrilles, like Mama!
So RomainingCalm is hosting us all for Christmas at Sandringham? Excellent!

Princess Sofia is one to watch in the style stakes. Quite often I see a photo of her and think I want what she's wearing! The white playsuit in these photos is no exception.

Hi all, I've posted a couple of times on this thread but mostly just lurk and admire the knowledge and general niceness on here.
Anyway I couldn't help but join in the tiara love. If I may, I would love the Josephine tiara please.
My dh knows of my love of tiaras or indeed anything sparkly and he bought me my own tiara a few years back Smile
I wear it whilst cooking dinner each Christmas (much to the amusement of my family)

Oooooh what a fab idea - festive and super chic! I may ask Santa /DH for the Vladimir tiara. Or the Delhi. Or both 😇
RomainingCalm · 05/08/2021 21:15

MN Christmas at Sandringham? Absolutely.

You are all very welcome, tiaras mandatory.

Ooh no, Christmas at Sandringham sounds a very stiff and dull affair. Christmas at the Middletons on the other hand... I bet Carole goes all out!

MrsRockAndRoll · 05/08/2021 21:31

@Jjacobb your DH sounds lovely!

Eaumyword · 05/08/2021 21:34

Ooh yet another Leti style win! Love and want that blue dress.
I'm up for a Sandringham bash. I think we could shake up a few traditions!
I sense you're right, Killing, I bet Carole gets all the Home Style mags (so do I!) and it starts with the home made wreath on the door!Grin
I imagine it to be all lovely roaring fires, home made sloe gin and cinnamon and orange wafts!

Maireas · 05/08/2021 21:42

@Jjacobb - Josephine tiara ✔️

Leti and the girls have lovely summer wear.
It makes me miss Mediterranean summer holidays!

The second one Maireas. Probably a tenner from Claire's accessories but I can dream

Horsemad · 05/08/2021 22:33

We all need a DH like yours @Jjacobb 🙂

BeaLola · 06/08/2021 14:29

Love the Josephine tiara - so much choice - I think my day of bling heaven would be tea with Naz and access to all her fab jewels

I have a little tiara from my wedding 😄during lockdown as a giggle I wore it to the team zoom meeting - forgot I had it on and answered the door to the temporary postie - he handed me my mail quickly and backed away quickly - I had no idea why until a bit later when making lunch I bent down to get milk out of fridge and tiara fell down over my face

BeaLola · 06/08/2021 14:29

Yea with Max even

Eaumyword · 06/08/2021 14:32

Love the tiara stories!
I don't know what I did with my wedding one. Think might have gone into the dressing up box. It was beautiful too! I had no veil so that the tiara looked EXTRA sparkly! Grin

frugalkitty · 06/08/2021 17:55

I last wore my wedding tiara when friends came round to watch H&M's wedding....,my DD took one look, raised an eyebrow and said dryly, "well, at least something from your wedding still fits you" (sadly, she has a point!)

Eaumyword · 06/08/2021 18:08

Oh I hear you, Frugal.
My wedding dress was a size 8! 20yrs, various illnesses and 4st later, I'm twice that 😱

Maireas · 06/08/2021 18:36

You see, that's why tiaras are so important.
They always fit
