I hope the image attaches. Is this too white for a wedding? I'm thinking it could be paired with navy shoes and a fascinator.

Not at all.

Pingued · 25/07/2021 16:53

Yes

Cocolapew · 25/07/2021 16:53

Yes

Aquamarine1029 · 25/07/2021 16:53

Not at all.

Badhabits1 · 25/07/2021 16:54

No it’s perfectly fine.

ToffeeForEveryone · 25/07/2021 16:54

Yes, sorry. It is lovely. But the bodice is very white. Choosing to wear a mostly white dress to a wedding always runs the risk of offending.

sssigh · 25/07/2021 16:55

Oh, two for yes and two saying no so far!

I stand correct. Three for yes. That's it off the now non-existent shortlist. Anyone up for helping a podgy size 12 find a dress? Throw some links at me Grin

It’s a bit. I’d play safe and buy a blue dress.

CrystalMaisie · 25/07/2021 16:58

Yes, it’s too white.

WeWantAMackerelNotASprat · 25/07/2021 16:59

I find these so funny! It's a great dress and I wouldn't be upset at all as a bride if you turned up in it. It's perfect for a summer wedding

satci · 25/07/2021 17:00

I really think it's fine

Badhabits1 · 25/07/2021 17:01

I wouldn’t think twice if you turned up in that for a wedding apart from its a lovely dress.

Couldhavebeenme2 · 25/07/2021 17:03

Yikes. I've got that exact frock for a weeding next Saturday, with a blue shawl, fascinator, bag and shoes. I really didn't know it was such a faux pas to wear a white ish (obviously not wedding dress) dress to a wedding!

MrsEricBana · 25/07/2021 17:03

I agree, lovely dress, totally fine. At my wedding MIL and SIL both wore off white lacy dresses. Less fine.

MyAnacondaMight · 25/07/2021 17:04

If you have to ask, then it’s not a good choice.

AbsolutelySure · 25/07/2021 17:06

If there is a mixed opinion on MN then it's likely there'll be a mixed opinion at the wedding. I think it's fine but perhaps you should find an alternative outfit.

That's my thoughts now!

I like this one. I already have a pink fascinator so that offsets the slightly larger pricetag (convincing myself). Plus I think I suit a skater dress. Who knows, its been years since I've been to a special occasion and I've birthed a child since!

Thank you, ladies!

It's beautiful. Go for it!

Nuggetnugget · 25/07/2021 17:08

It's beautiful and I usually play safe but it's perfectly fine as it's not wedding dressy at all. Second choice v pretty.

Oddbutnotodd · 25/07/2021 17:09

The blue one is fine

Midnightballerina · 25/07/2021 17:09

It's a lovely dress & perfect for a wedding

livingoffcoffee · 25/07/2021 17:10

The second dress is lovely!

WeeM · 25/07/2021 17:11

I think it’s totally fine, perfect for a wedding. The other one is lovely too though.

Deadringer · 25/07/2021 17:12
