Best deodorant for dryness & smell?

TomAllenWife · 20/07/2021 23:29

So last week I bought a Sure Max Strength stick, it's shit, I'm not dry and I smell worse than I would with normal deodorant

Usually use a sanex roll on or sure invisible spray

Anyone got any great suggestions please?

Mitchum. You need a Michum roll on for the morning, then a Mitchum spray as a booster in the afternoon if it's particularly sweaty weather. I use the unfragranced one and I don't whiff.

I was going to suggest Sure maximum protection, the cream. Absolutely brilliant for me. Weird how some things work and not for others. I might as well not use anything when I use Mitchum.

Babypug · 20/07/2021 23:33

I always use men's deodorant, it's cheaper more effective. Right guard do max heat protection and an air conditioning one. Never looked back

PabloSlow · 20/07/2021 23:35

Mitchum. The unscented works best for me.

altforvarmt · 20/07/2021 23:41

Mitchum stick.

AvaCallanach · 20/07/2021 23:43

Mitchum stick no doubt.

Eleoura · 20/07/2021 23:43

I use mitchum too- for years. They have their roll on, regular range. If that is no good, they have a cream stick and then another one, sold in a box. I assume (might be wrong) that the cream stick in the box is their strongest one.

noblegreenk · 20/07/2021 23:57

Another recommendation for mitchum. I use the spray, never found anything better. My mum recommended it to me over 15yrs ago and i've never looked back.

Mitchum men's... Life changing

piefacedClique · 21/07/2021 00:15

Mitchum stick or sanex

CimCardashian · 21/07/2021 00:16

The Mitchum roll on doesn’t last for me. I think men’s might be the way forward!

There are some really strong ones, Odoban is the extremely good but can be a faff to apply.

floppybit · 21/07/2021 00:21

Mitchum

uncomfortablydumb53 · 21/07/2021 00:24

Another Mitchum user here
I like the powder fresh scent

Divineswirls · 21/07/2021 00:56

Mitchum stick

Divineswirls · 21/07/2021 00:57

And wash pits with bar soap not shower gel. It makes a big difference

WhoEatsPopTarts · 21/07/2021 00:58

Use glycolic acid works brilliantly, just the regular one you buy for your face, Pixie or even the Aldi version.

Webbedlife · 21/07/2021 01:00

Another vote for Mitchum. Nothing else was working well.

DariaMorgendorffer · 21/07/2021 01:01

Mitchum here too!

WineAndMassage · 21/07/2021 01:03

Mitchum 100%. Tried and tested

ILikeBiscuits · 21/07/2021 01:05

My body seems to get used to a brand and it stops working.

So, in winter, I use something like Sure.

When the weather becomes warmer and I can sense the smell of sweat I change to Mitchum.

When Mitchum stops working I use Triple Dry.

Then it’s usually back to Sure in the autumn.

fuxxake · 21/07/2021 08:18

Has anyone tried nuud?

OneRingToRuleThemAll · 21/07/2021 08:20

Clinique roll on for men. £15 a bottle but it lasts a good few months. It's the only one that works out of all of them.

NotMyCat · 21/07/2021 08:26

Mitchum men, the cream one. Use it at night

MallardtheKing · 21/07/2021 08:33

Dove maximum protection stick, put it on in the evening (still works even if you shower in the morning). Then mitchum stick in the morning as a top up (and because I love the smell!) The sure one is similar to the dove so it might work better if you apply overnight too? I used to have to use driclor until I discovered the dove, hated driclor but it was very effective.

Fromage · 21/07/2021 08:36

Why doesn't Mitchum work for me?!

I sweat more and I stink. Might as well use a wheel of Gorgonzola ffs.
