I so enjoyed the cocktail ring thread and noted so did quite a few others
What other lovely pieces have you bought, inherited or been given?

This rose gold, graduated diamond, tennis bracelet. I have tiny wrists so most bracelets are too big for me but this one has a friendship bracelet style toggle fastening so it actually fits. I love it and wear it every day. It's so sparkly and glamorous yet still understated.

I bought it in the Diamond District in NY and I had to haggle with a very loud, brash NY diamond dealer to get a good price. It was an ordeal as I'm very British and reticent but it was totally worth it. When I took it to be valued for insurance the U.K. jeweller thought I had an absolute bargain.

@bendmeoverbackwards if it's not too far for you, a trip to Guildford, Surrey, will allow you to to visit Cry for the Moon (www.cftm.co.uk/) - a little heavy on the wallet but you could spend hours and hours there just looking at beautiful vintage pieces. The people there really know their gemstones and always offer very sound advice.

@Confusedandshaken
Absolutely stunning bracelet - you have given me hope that some day I will find ‘the one’
If you like vintage jewellery, this place is amazing: not cheap, but you can find some gorgeous pieces that you can keep as they are or (as I tend to do) have them taken apart to have something else made www.graysantiques.com/
I think I've died and gone to heaven

Thanks @InTheNameOfAllThatIsHonest it’s a bit far for me. Do you know of anywhere in Central London?

I live the gold star and all your rings

I've never really had any fancy jewellery but gave two pieces I love. First one is a Blue John broach my DO bought from a place I worked at. I used to go and look at it everyday, I live the pattern in the stone, which doesn't show up as much in photos

And the second is a gate bracelet my Grandma bought for my 18th, it's Victorian supposedly and I loved it for its plainness where as lots of 80's ones were all squiggly
