Still love the dress, loathe the shoes! Kate looks fabulous.

I love the green dress & think the white New Look style JChoo shoes look great with it.
But then my Great-Grandfather, his father, his grandfather & so on came from Essex so you can blame them for me liking Kate's white stilettos 😂

Those are so cute @Chewbecca or should I say Choo-bacca?? When you can afford any of the gorgeous shoes in the collection, why go for those white ones?

I just don't understand how she could think those shoes are nice? The dress is grand, nothing amazing. Nothing like the stunning yellow Wimbledon dress. Talk about flattering. That's one of my top five Kate looks I'd say.

Kate's dress today was much better in movement. The shoes are horrible. Hot pink would have been awesome, however unlikely.

I actually far preferred this green Wimbledon look. And though I don't love this bag or these shoes, they are billions of times better than the white.

I preferred that green dress too, although I think she could've gone up half a size and it would've looked even better. No idea who the lady who looks like a mix of Glenn Close and Judy Murray is but I like her blue cape dress.

@AdaColeman well if Kate is taking it extremely literally then it'll either be an England flag dress or my 3 lions costume pictured earlier 😋

Red white and blue aren't the English colours. Only red and white are.

@MrsFin I mentioned red,white & blue in case she wanted her outfit in the Union Jack colours instead of just the England colours.
Though Kate will probably surprise us & wear a pink dress or some other colour

I'd like to see Kate in a white trouser suit for Wembley, with a pop of red on her accessories. Failing that the white dress she wore to Wimbledon that had black belt and buttons but I think she'll do trousers for the football so I hope she's at Wimbledon in the afternoon with a fabulous new frock. I have an image of her heading to Wimbledon with a quick wave and "laters" leaving William to explain to a stropping George for the hundredth time that no he can't go to Wembley tonight as the match is at bedtime.

Intriguing article @paradyning! The DoK was infamous for having many lovers (of both sexes) so it's possible he smuggled someone on board, though I always thought any mystery connected to his death would along the lines of a secret spying mission or something like that.

But if it was a woman on board then who was she? Surely she would've had family to make enquiries? Or were they silenced too? I suspect a lot of old secrets may come out once the Queen and her cousins die.

I don't think that's Princess Beatrice in that photo. I've seen pictures of her in old age and she was more solidly built.

It looks like Princess Alice but I think she'd be younger than that in the 1940s!
